I have ordered Barricade Herbicide twice as I prefer a granular herbicide as opposed to a liquid and I have found it to be effective and a decent value. Price was a big factor in my decision to purchase but I have found it to be as effective as some of the more pricy granular pre-emergent herbicides. It short, I found it to be a good value.

Have not applied the product yet but it will be perfect the area I plan to treat. Treats most of the weeds that I normally have on an annual basis.

So far I can’t comment on the product itself but the shipping from DMO was lightning fast. I think it was two days from order to delivery.

I cannot really tell if this has helped the lawn with the weeds. I applied before march 20 but the weather has been unusually warm which is why applied before that date. The march 20 comes from the instructions in the bag. It has been two weeks and I don't see dead weeds. It's the first time I have used this in my lawn so I do not know if the results show after months and not weeks.

We apologize you did not achieve the intended results. The Andersons Barricade does not kill anything actively growing, it is applied before weeds germinate to prevent them from emerging so you will not see any dead weeds after use. You should see less weeds emerging if applied in time to prevent. The general rule for spring is to apply your spring pre-emergent herbicide treatment after the ground has thawed from the winter but before the temperature of your soil reaches 55 degrees, as that is when crabgrass begins to germinate. Other weeds will germinate when the soil temperature is between 55 and 65 degrees. You can use a soil thermometer to determine the temperature of your lawn/area. You will want to measure the temperature of the soil a few inches below ground.

I have not had time to judge the product . It was very easy to spread on my lawn. The shipping time was excellent and the product was in good condition when it arrived. All my orders with DoMyOwn have been easy to complete and shipping time couldn’t have been better.

Seems what is easily available in the stores is either not immediately available or only treats a limited number of weeds. Ended up at DoMyOwn and saw this. Price didn’t seem too bad, considering shipping was included and one bag would take care of the yard, so I got a bag. Arrived when expected and packaged well. Particle size is nice, consistent and small so it is more evenly distributed. Too early to tell haw well it will work, but the label says it’ll take care of a lot of stuff I have been putting up with. Kind of surprised dandelions weren’t on the bye-bye list, we’ll see what happens.

I think the product is "fair". I applied on the earliest date for spring based on the planting zone map. I have still some dandelions and violet or pink flowering weeds as well as onions but no crabgrass. I did several weeks prior need to use a post-emergent spray because I had clover practically all winter. I will see if any other weeds pop up. I will have to wait for a fall treatment to see if this product really works as advertised.

Shipping was fast the 1st and 2nd time! Carrier damaged the shipment before I received it. A call (to a real person) got another shipped and received in 2 days! As far as the product, next Spring will tell as it is a preemergent.

It was real easy to order and shipping was fast. I cannot really review the product, since it is a pre-emergent. I won't know how it performs until next spring.

I used all of the preemergents out there, and Barricade beats them all. Just make sure and de-weed the area first, roots and all. Spread liberally with a spreader and wet in. The last part is the most important, that this must be soaked in. When done properly I've kept weeds down for 6 months before a re-application is needed.

I researched which type of pre emergent was best and this is what I found. Sadly, this product did nothing for dandelions, clover or weeds. I'm back to overpaying the chemical company to spray

I purchased the product for spring application and have not applied at this time. However, the service and speed of delivery was great. I'm sure I will be using it again if it works as well as the liquid. I would like to have known the application rate in pounds per acre before to purchase of the product.

Barricade seems to do a really good job surpressing weeds in my Kurapia, a drought-tolerant ground cover. My biggest problem-weed has been Yellow Wood Sorrel, and Barricade has been effective without damaging the Kurapia.
