I looked around and found the best price for TifBlair Centipede grass seed here at DoMyOwnPestControl. I had previously RoundUp and tilled my front yard and raked away all the dead weed debris. I used the whole 5lbs bag of seed in my front yard with a spreader and covered the lawn with about an 1/8"-1/4" of peatmoss and set my sprinklers to water for 15 minutes, 4 times a day. That along with a few good rainy days have germinated a tremendous amount of grass seed in a little over a weeks time. Only problem I had was discovering the day after seeding my lawn was that I had a lot of ants picking up the seed. I ran out of day light while spreading the peatmoss the day before and couldn't see how thin I was applying it. I reapplied insecticide on the whole lawn and added more peatmoss. There's definitely some thin spots in a large area where most of the ants were.

This seed company always has fresh seed and germination is great. Would not buy any other brancd of centipede seed.

I wanted some centipede seed, but nobody in Tampa that I could find was carrying TifBlair. I saved some money and saved some time by ordering from DoMyOwn. The next time I need some agricultural material, I will skip the searching-around and go to the DoMyOwn web site.

Its been almost two weeks since we seeded and we have little sprouts coming up all over. Would submit pictures but cant find a place to submit. Oh well. Good product so far.

Crabgrass damaged several parts of my lawn last year. I applied this seed and kept it watered. It took about 3 weeks to start to see results but the spots are starting to fill in nicely.

Planted the seeds with 75% sand to help fill the spreader. Used the entire bag on .4 acres after i core aerated. Watered every other day and grass was growing within 11 days. Very satisfied

I purchased 2lbs. of Centipede grass seed. I watered it daily for 7 days before it started popping up out of the ground. Very good product and I highly recommend it to others.

I keep centipede grass on .7 acres in eastern North Carolina. Twice a year I re-seed a different portion. "Tif Blair" never disappoints. Comes back with no bare spots.

Prepared the yard for seeding in late May using Ferti-Lome New Lawn Starter Fertilizer 9-13-7. I generously spread enough seed to cover 800 sq.ft. and lightly covered with clean wheat straw, as well as watered twice a day. After three weeks the seed started to sprout and now eight weeks later I've mowed three times and the grass is established well enough to only water when needed. Overall, the seed is excellent and I recommend planting when considering a new lawn or repair.

Easily spread over current grass or bare soil and it readily sprouts and starts to spread as designed choking out weeds and unwanted grasses.

The grass is coming up within two weeks but the growth is slow. Don’t know if I should have added some starter fertilizer

I used TifBlair at my last home where I couldn't get anything to grow. So I thought I'd try it at my new home where I had some bare spots. Sprouted in about a week. We'll see how it grows from here. If it does well ask expect, I'll end up seeding my whole yard. Quick delivery from DoMyOwn.

Planted the seed about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks ago and most of it has sprouted and we have tiny blades of grass everywhere. Appears to be good quality grass seed. Good price also as cheaper than everywhere else, including Amazon.
