I read all the reviews I could find on the Tomahawk 924 trap and found excellent reviews. The reviews are correct, this is an excellent trap. I have been using it to eliminate skunks around my house. We have trapped 7 skunks so far and we still have more to catch. After we catch the skunk, we set it upright and fill it full of water, we wait about 15 minutes and dump out the water and the skunk, we let it dry and reset the trap. From the other reviews, we use peanut butter and sardines for the bait. We vary the trap location and find that after 2-3 days, we end up catching a skunk.

By far the best trap available. I use this for trapping skunks. It prevents spraying and is a great way to contain an animal for release.

Had a skunk problem. We believed their were 2 skunks living under our house. Borrowed a trap from the City and for 10 days we did not get anything and returned. we bought this item and the first night we caught our first skunk. The next 2 weeks we ended up catching a total of 7 skunks and 1 raccoon. This trap is awesome.

I have had this trap less than two weeks and have already trapped and released (far, far away...lol) 4 skunks, an opossum and a raccoon all residing underneath my home. This trap combined with a small tin of cat food is the last trap you will ever need.

When you need a solid-sided trap that contains a skunk safely and doubles as a euthanasia chamber for gassing, there really is no alternative. The trigger mechanism is simple and reliable, and can be tweaked a bit to fire for trap-shy animals. Been using this for years and couldn't be happier.

We baited the trap with different stuff and put it next to the hole that led under our house and no luck. They didn't go into the trap. So we fixed plywood between the trap and the house and they only had one way out .... into the trap. We have caught a total of 3 skunks and had success with bait as expensive as sardines or as cheap as bird seed. When they spray it's inside the box which is nice but it still stinks! We used a cheap wifi day and night camera to watch the skunks on their way into the trap and it was pretty entertaining.

I was able to trap the skunk that was getting under my house. It only took a few days. This trap is designed so he could not spray my while in the trap. I highly recommend this trap. Setting the trap was a breeze.

Works very well for skunks. The trap has solid walls and is sized so the skunk has a hard time raising it's tail to spray. Makes it much easier to get rid of them.

Caught the skunk under my porch on the second night. He sprayed in there (my fault probably), but I didn't get it and was able to release him safely, 10/10, would buy again any time!

Already caught 3 racoons and one skunk. Easy to set, The only thing to consider is how to open the trap to release the animal. that requires a little practice before you have something trapped. I use a piece of wire on the door handle to help hold the door open during release.

Great product. Have used twice successfully to relocate skunks. Neither I nor the dog have been sprayed either time. Sturdy but light, easy to operate and importantly, easy to clean with Simple Green and water. Saved over $200 by purchasing this and using some wet cat food as bait vs hiring someone for $300 each time I need something trapped.

Having problems with holes being dug up in my yard. Determined the problem to be skunks.This live trap is a wonderful conTRAPtion and protects you from being sprayed while handling the sprung trap. I may be ordering a couple more.

This trap works GREAT. My neighbor and I caught ten Skunks in our yard with this trap. We were able to catch these skunks then fill this plastic container full to the top with water from an outside faucet, drown the dam skunks and dispose of the skunks in the woods without getting sprayed. the skunks died in less than five minutes. These skunks kept spraying our three dogs almost every other night. I got very tired of washing our dogs at midmight.

Since receiving my Tomahawk 924 Live trap I have caught 3 skunks and a pack rat! I'm very happy with my new toy!
