The Tomahawk Model 924 is a plastic trap that measures 24L x 9W x 9H and weighs 7 lbs. It's made from durable polyethylene and formed into one solid piece. The solid frame construction protects animals from the environment and handlers from animals. It also prevents trapped animals from reaching outside the trap and damaging the surrounding area and prevents animals from reaching into the trap and stealing bait. Dura poly traps are an excellent choice when animals need to be trapped in populated areas because captured animals cannot be seen from the outside, and people cannot reach into the trap and disturb the animal.

I read all the reviews I could find on the Tomahawk 924 trap and found excellent reviews. The reviews are correct, this is an excellent trap. I have been using it to eliminate skunks around my house. We have trapped 7 skunks so far and we still have more to catch. After we catch the skunk, we set it upright and fill it full of water, we wait about 15 minutes and dump out the water and the skunk, we let it dry and reset the trap. From the other reviews, we use peanut butter and sardines for the bait. We vary the trap location and find that after 2-3 days, we end up catching a skunk.

Had a skunk problem. We believed their were 2 skunks living under our house. Borrowed a trap from the City and for 10 days we did not get anything and returned. we bought this item and the first night we caught our first skunk. The next 2 weeks we ended up catching a total of 7 skunks and 1 raccoon. This trap is awesome.

I'm looking to trap a skunk on our property and want to make sure we don't get a rabbit or something else instead. Would like to make sure this product will allow for that

The Tomahawk 924 Dura Poly Live Trap can stop some skunks from spraying depending on their size. We do have another option though that is a little smaller and specific for skunks, the Tomahawk Original Series #105.2 is a covered rigid live trap with one trap door designed to catch skunks without getting sprayed

We would recommend using an odor eliminator such as Bac-AZap Odor Eliminator or Pyranha Odaway Odor Absorber Concentrate to remove skunk smells and other tough odors.

The manufacturer, Tomahawk, has made a graphic showing how to utilize the Tomahawk 924 Dura Poly Live Trap which you can view by following the link HERE. You would use the same methods for setting the trap as you would for releasing the animal by opening the trap door to allow the animal to exit the same way it came in once you are ready to release.
