Are ramps to slick for the turtles to climb up. Do trap door fall quickly

No, Tomahawk Floating Turtle Trap Model 409 is not too slick for the turtles to climb up on. It works by tipping the gravity trap panel into the compartment when the turtles climb up on the ramp to sun themselves, making them easily fall into the trap. You can also lure turtles to enter the trap by putting bait such as raw fish, beef cuts, worms and other meats inside.
