The Tomahawk Floating Turtle Trap Model 409 offers an efficient way to capture multiple turtles at the same time without harming them. It is constructed with durable aluminum ramps, along with 1 in. x 1 in. - 14 gauge coated mesh frame and advanced steel reinforcing rods measuring 1/4 inch, making it the sturdiest floating turtle trap in the market today. The material used on the wire mesh is identical to the one used in high-quality lobster pots, ensuring durability. The gravity trap panel tips into the compartment when the turtles climb up on the ramp to sun themselves, causing them to gently fall into the trap. You can also lure turtles to enter the trap by putting bait such as raw fish, beef cuts, worms and other meats inside.
