Can you use with Talstar in the Tomahawk Power Backpack Fogger/Mist Blower?
This tomahawk is called a power mister but I've seen it called a fogger as well. Can you use talstar or Bifen I/t with this? I've read that talstar and bifen are to be used with misters and not foggers.

I am looking for a sprayer that has extended range for spraying trees in my yard.

The Tomahawk Power Backpack Fogger TMD14 with Turbo Boost is a mister, not a fogger. You can set the setting on the side of the hose to the lowest setting for about a 50-micron level when blowing at full speed.

Make sure to coat the shrubs as much as possible concentrating on the undersides of the leaves. You can use 0.8 oz of Cyzmic and an ounce of Tekko per gallon of water for moquitoes and most other pests.

We recommend using water based products because of the gas engine on the Tomahawk Power Backpack Fogger TMD14 with Turbo Boost, some people do use oil based products as long as they are not too thick and the flammability rating is not high and are only mixed with water.

While a power blower like the Tomahawk TMD14 is not the normal equipment we would recommend for any herbicide applications, for that unique plant and growth habits, that may prove to be the most successful way to get the foliage deep within the tall sections reached with the chemical. From our research on best phragmite control methods, the recommendations state: "If the plants are too tall to spray, cut back in mid summer and apply glyphosate when regrowth reaches 2 to 3 ft tall." If yours are roughly that height currently you could likely spray them and see decent control, but a reapplication should likely be expected.

If not, what can be used to for this type of application?

This will avoid damaging the turbo booster. We do offer spreaders for granular products including fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, grass seed, etc. This model is great for ice melt products.
