You do not roll the Tomahawk Rigid Trap Model 104.5. To release the animal you simply re-open the front door in the same manner as you did when you set the trap. If you have an aggressive animal in the trap you may want to wear animal gloves or throw a towel over the trap so the animal will calm down before opening the trap. In almost every case however once you open the door the animal just takes off running. If you have a skunk in the trap you will definitely want to throw a thick plastic tarp over the trap and leave the animal alone for at 30 minutes before releasing to avoid being sprayed.
