Sparrows Escape the trap

The trap is good quality. However the sparrows that have been trapped have all been able to get out of the one inch square wire. The wire mesh needs to be smaller so the sparrows can't get through. We will see if it will work on starlings this fall when they start grouping up and coming into my yard.
