    Q
How far away to keep Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide applications from raised garden?
How far away should this product be sprayed from a raised edible garden? Can grass border the raised beds, or how many feet away should grass be from raised edible garden beds? Does height matter (6 inch high beds vs 12
    A

Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide should not be applied in a way that would cause any drifts or droplets to contact edible vegetation.  Staying about 10 ft. away from your raised garden would help to prevent any drift contacting the plants or any product getting near the root zones of your plants.  Having grass border the raised garden is possible but not recommended due to issues it can cause

    Q
Is it safe for rabbits to eat the grass after it has been treated with Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide?
    A

Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide is pet safe when used as directed. Pets and people need to be kept away from the treated area during application and until everything is fully dry. Once everything is dry, it is fine to resume normal activity. Q
Can I tank mix Turflon Ester Ultra with Trimec 992?
I have both herbicides and wondering if I can mix them together to apply at one time
    A

Turflon Ester Ultra and Trimec 992 could be tank mixed together but we would recommend doing a jar test for compatibility as directed on the product label. The jar test simulates how it will be mixed in the tank to make sure they go into solution together. If there is no issue with the jar test, they can then be tank mixed and applied.

    Q
Is Trimec 992 safe to use to kill thistle in a vegetable garden?
My vegetable garden has been taken over by thistle. I am wanting to get rid of it but still have the soil still be safe to plant vegetables in. Is this possible with Trimec or should I look for another product to kill the thistle?
    A

Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide is not safe to apply in an area that would be a vegetable garden.

In the vegetable garden, you would need to spot treat carefully using a non-selective herbicide like RoundUp or glyphosate alternative or hand pull/dig any broadleaf weeds or thistles.   You can plant areas in 2 weeks after application.

    Q
What happens if you accidentally over spay your grass with Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide?
I may have over mixed the ratio of Trimec to water when I sprayed my grass for weeds.
    A

If an over mix or over spray of Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide, or any herbicide, has been made it could injure your lawn.  There is not much you can do other than give it time and watch for any damage that may occur. You can try watering the lawn thoroughly to wash some of the product off of the surface right after application, and you can apply Chelated Iron fertilizers to the lawn to help offset discoloring, but you won't know the full result over the treatment until several days to a week or so later when its had time to show signs.

    Q
I’m targeting clover in a Bermuda grass lawn, can I use Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide?
Regular 24D really turns the Bermuda grass brown and has to be reapplied to kill clover which knocks back the grass even more. Is this product more effective than regular 24D for control of clover in Bermuda? Thanks
    A

Yes, Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide is a great 3 active ingredient herbicide to get better control of broadleaf weeds than straight 2,4-D.  Clover is best treated when it just starts to emerge and is young, more mature clover may require repeat applications.

    Q
Will Trimec 992 knock down unwanted overgrown wisteria vine?
    A

Trimec 992 Broadleaf Herbicide is not labeled for wisteria.

To treat wisteria vines, it is recommended to cut the vine at the base as close to the ground as possible and use round up over the cut edge for best results.  Roundup Quick Pro would be recommended to apply at the highest rate and paint onto the edge with a brush.
