    Q
How should I apply TurfGrass Pro Micros to my lawn? Label says every 7-14 days, but for how long?
I have Saint Augustine grass. Analysis from University of Florida says my soil has high Ph(8.1) and lacks micronutrients. I don't mind giving my grass a good kick but a lifetime of application of micronutrients goes a bit far.
    A

Normally an application of a liquid fertilizer with Micros like TurfGrass Pro Micros would be used throughout the growing season as needed for the lawn. If your pH is too high you may want to consider doing a heavy sulfur application to lower it to the desired level for your lawn first so that the lawn can more easily and readily accept the nutrients you are putting down with the fertilizer. You can do it every 7-14 days while the lawn is needing a boost, and then periodically every few weeks or months as you see fit based on the appearance and growth of your lawn.

    Q
Can I run TurfGrassPro Micros t in a LT Rich Z Sprayer?
    A

We do not see any reason why the TurfGrassPro Micros couldnt be used in a Z Sprayer unit. From our quick research on the Z Sprayers it appears they are designed for most professional lawn chemicals and use and would work for your needs.

    Q
Do I water in or allow TurfGrassPro Micros to dry on grass?
Do I water in the product or is it absorbed through the grass leaves.
    A

TurfGrassPro Micros does not require watering in after application and you want to avoid watering or rain for at least 24 hours after application.  Just be sure to use sufficient water to cover the area during application.  If you need assistance with calibrating your sprayer we have a video here that can help.

    Q
Can TurfGrass Pro Micros be mixed with HydraHume T&O?
    A

You could potentially mix and spray TurfGrass Pro Micros and Hydra-Hume at the same time. We would recommend a small jar test for compatability before mixing a large tank for the first time. You could also use MicroMerge, which is basically HydraHume impregnated with micronutrients all in one product.

TurfGrassPro Micros only contains the micros so is intended to be used as a supplement to NPK fertilizers.  You can use together following all instructions on the labels.  We would recommend a small jar test for compatability before mixing a large tank for the first time

    Q
How much water is needed to mix with TurfGrassPro Micros to treat 3,000 sq ft?
    A

The water volume you use when applying the TurfGrass Pro Micros, or any other product that gives you an amount per 1000 sq/ft on the product label, will vary from person to person and application to application. The water is merely the carrier to get the amount of chemical evenly distributed over the desired amount of treatment area. For fertilizers you want to use a higher water volume per 1000 sq/ft than you would an insecticide or even herbicide, as you want to make sure the nutrients are getting not just on the foliage of the grass, but also down into the roots and thatch layers of the soil. The higher water volume also insures you do not over apply and burn the lawn from too high of a concentration of fertilizer in one spot. On average you will use 2-4 gallons of water to every 1000 sq/ft you treat. So based on the mix rate you choose, anywhere from 2-6 oz of TGP Micros per 1000 sq/ft ( so 6-18 oz to your whole 3000 sq/ft area), would be put in roughly 2 gallons of water per 1000, or 6-10 gallons over the whole yard.

    Q
Application amount using TS Pro Micros
Hi, the label states 2 ozs per 1000sq ft, but is that mixed with water? How much water per oz's application is required.
    A

Yes, you should dilute the TurfGrassPro Micros with water before application. We recommend using 2-5 gallons of water per 1000 sq ft with this and other liquid fertilizers for best results.
