Tried everything to get rid of bamboo... Yes bamboo ... Neighbor had planted with no barrier to block unwanted growth... Ended up all over my yard... As bamboo is very very hard to eradicate ... Cut thru stalks and sprayed a double strength solution ... Three days later nothing ... Week later nothing.. Was on the verge of giving up.. 14 days and every thing near the treated area is completely dead... No vegetation ... It works ! Highly recommend

This product works very well to control difficult to control weeds, both pre and post emergent. However, it can be extremely toxic to desirable plants. Product is quite persistent and if moved near desirable plants by water or dust, it will severely effect them. I have seen damage to grapes over 100 ft. from application site. TVC was applied while grapes were dormant, but apparently carried by dust to remote vines. Vines 10 ft from application were either killed or severely stunted. My guess is that materials needs to be better incorporated deeper into soil where wind erosion sould be less of a problem.

I used this product along with Eraser and the Non-Ionic Surfactant for Herbicides around a building with high weeds and vines. I put this down on 7/28 and I just went back on 9/2 for Sept service and everything is still dead no new growth in the area that was sprayed. I am going to use it on a fence line at the apartment complex that we service I will let you know how it works on fence lines.

worked after one spraying in some areas. (ditch bank, around shed and a/c unit) ground still dead no sign of weed growth for 4 months now. had to apply second spraying on the parking lot area within a month to kill new growth. weeds are now starting to come back in parking area. the parking area gets only afternoon sun , don't know if this may be reason for weed comeback or not, but better than monthly spraying of round-up.

If a review is telling you it does not work, it is because it was diluted too much. There are instructions on how concentrated you can make your solution based on your desired results. Spray when it is not going to rain in the next few days and be sure to not dilute it too much.

I combined this product, TVC, with KillzAll Weed and Grass Killer 41% and a surfactant, at highest suggested amounts, in a 3 gallon sprayer. I sprayed along fence line and in mulch beds where grass was growing through. Also sprayed cracks along driveway and walkway. The next day everything sprayed was bent over and brown. Days later, everything was completely laid down and dead or completely gone. After nearly two weeks, there is no sign of regrowth and none expected. I will continue to use this combination anywhere that needs to be free of grass and weeds.

I purchased this product and applied per the pamphlet instructions 4 times with no results. Didnt kill grass, or anything else. I phoned tech support at the manufacturer and reviewed my process and dilution with them and they said it should work (but it did not). I suggest trying a different product as this in my experience is an overpriced and underperforming product (does absolutely nothing).

This is an effect product

I use this in a mixture with the following parts per gallon of water for my fence lines at my properties. This has been very effective for trees, briars and growths in my fence lines. 2 oz TVC 4 oz Eraser 1 oz Sufactant Mixed with 1 gallon water for fence line. I use this in large quantities sprayed on my fence lines. Cheaper than paying people to cut it down every year and works well.

I have well over a mile of fence on my property as well as plenty of other places that I want to avoid having to maintain throughout the year. This has saved me a LOT of effort by being able to spray everywhere in an afternoon and have a complete maintenance free year.

Product is described just as ordered, only issue was first order was not delivered due to damaged shipping container, I received an open and empty box from USPS, products that contain liquids should be packaged and sealed as to not allow outside sources to open and access the package contents. Aside from the shipping mishap "Do My Own" was very prompt in replacing the product, shipped and received within 3 days. Great service!!!!!!!

TVC is very effective. It works well with hard-to-kill weeds like morning glory, bindweed, and whiteweed(nightshade). lf broadcast, TVC will sterilize the ground and prevent more weeds for 6 months or more. Also, can be mixed with glyphosate. It is fairly expensive, though.

TVC worked on my fence line and vegetation around shed. It works slowly. It took about 6 to 8 days to show results. At the 4 to 5 day mark you could see stuff turning yellow and brown. Approximately 7th to 8th day stuff was brown and dead. It is advised to be careful as possible because over spray will turn anything It hits as well. Also it rained 2 days after spray and it was still effective. I used a 4 gallon backpack sprayer at an approximate rate of 1oz to 1 Gallon water. As always DoMyOwn was fast as expected with order delivery.

I'm surprised by the number of one star reviews here, this product is fantastic. I use 1oz(30mL) per gallon(3.8 L) of water mixed with a surfactant and a spray indicator dye. Pros: -Kills all vegetation -one quart makes 32 gallons worth of spray that's strong enough to keep a gravel area and fence lines baron -lasts six months after application, easily. Closer to nine months in my experience -can be used to create borders or to avoid maintaining fence lines (I applied this along the base of a chain link fence and didn't need to weed-eat for the entire year) Cons: -takes 2 weeks+ to fully work. I suspect some of the bad reviews on this site are from people who expected next-day results similar to roundup. That's not the case here, good things come to those who wait - things will start dying about 10 days after application and in about three weeks you'll have all vegetation completely dead and you won't have to even think about weeds for a very, very long time. -Runoff. This product certainly runs over time. Be aware of who/what is downhill of your application because it will migrate over time. Make sure you take note of where water goes in residential settings during a strong rain prior to application so you know who/what could be effected. I have a pool and will not apply this to any fence line on my property that is at a higher elevation than my pool. Be careful and mindful when using this product and it will reward you with Total Vegetation Control!

We live in Central Texas and have a gravel driveway and some fencing. While we are in a drought now, rains in late winter/early spring brought an abundance of weeds and especially juniper along the fence. Applied TVC and mixed with RoundUp for quick initial knock-down, but the TVC definitely worked. Nothing has comeback at all. It's been absolute. My only worry, and the label cautioned this, but I believe I have severely injured or killed a Texas Green Ash that was close to the driveway. I thought I was out sufficiently past the drip line but may have still been too close. Tree is 30ft tall and about 20 years old. However, I've been battling ball moss for several years and that usually happens to a tree that's already past its prime so a younger, healthier tree might've not been as impacted but I think my TVC application was a bit too close to the tree- add to that drought stress. My advice is to stick to their instructions and then also add some additional buffer as it is a bit of a 'scorched earth' product- which I wanted for the driveway but should've maybe just used a weaker product closer to the tree. I also applied it a bit too close to a big male Chinese Pistache but it's on a lawn irrigation system so verdict isn't out on any injury- he's still green and enormous and about 30 years old so pray ing I didn't hurt it- will do an update in the next few months. Still TVC is what I needed to keep the driveway from being overrun and vegetation from damaging/stressing the fence- especially by juniper.

Sprayed on bricks and concrete 1 week later it started to turn yellow don't know how long it will stay away only problem is the directions tell you by acres instead of gallons so it's hard to really figure how much to mix just weedeated and hadn't seen anything growing back been 2 weeks
