“Hi! This is Michael from domyownpestcontrol. Today, we're going to do a product snapshot of the Victor Rat Trap. The Victor Rat Trap comes in two models. One is the traditional rat trap the M200. The other the professional rat trap the M326. There's a couple difference between the Victor traditional rat trap and the professional rat trap. One is that the trigger plate on the professional is much larger. The professional also has two settings, an “F” setting for firm and an “S” setting for soft. This is the kind of trap you want to use if you are around heavy machinery, maybe the floor vibrates and can possible set off the traps. You want to use the “F” firm setting on the Victor Professional Trap in those situations. When it comes to baiting these traps, we recommend Provoke professional rat attractant. The Provoke attractant can be used with any mechanical trap. It's irresistible to mice, hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and non-staining. It's very attractive to rats. All you do is place a very small drop to the bait trough on the professional or the trigger plate on the traditional and then you're ready to set the trap. When setting the Victor traditional rat trap, there's a couple things you want to keep in mind. Number one you always want to face the trap with the trigger plate facing away from you, you don't want to lose any fingers. Number two, you want to bait the trap before you set it. We recommend the Provoke Professional Rat Attractant. Just a small drop on the trigger plate is all that you need. Once that's accomplished, you want to pull the set arm back. It's gonna be attached to the wooden base with a “U” shaped nail. Take a pair of plyers and pull it out. Take the set arm back behind the trap, with the other hand, pull back the spring arm and you're gonna hold the spring arm with one thumb. Take the set arm over the spring, put it into the notch in the trigger. Slowly let off the spring, so it catches. Now the trap is set. Now that the Victor Rat Trap is set, it time to see it in action. Place it on the ground and up against a wall with the trigger facing the wall. This is because rats like to follow edges and it's gonna be right up with wall from either direction and will step right on the trigger. So here comes Mr. Rat, smells the Provoke Rat Attractant.
