    How long do I have to wait after 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide before I can overseed?
    I have 2 year old tall fescue and I have waited for the 90 to 100 degree weather to end to apply the chemicals. I plan on over seeding to help struggling areas and to help areas that have thinned a bit. So I have read that anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks ...which is it? Zone 11 north san diego inland

    You want to wait at least 4 weeks after application of 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide to overseed.

    Can I apply 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide when it is cold outside at 50 degrees?

    The 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide should be applied when it is between 65-80 degrees. 3 Way Max and other post-emergent herbicides will be most effective when the target weeds are young and actively growing.

    Is this product a Pre or Post emergent herbicide? Is there a combination you have?
    I am wanting a combination herbicide that is both pre & post emergent? Do you have any recomendations

    3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide is recommended to applied to broadleaf weeds that are actively growing therefore it is used as a post emergent. Possible follow-up applications may be required for dense infestations of perennial and biennial weeds. Without knowing what specific type of weeds are you are want to treat as a pre and post emergent, we are unable to recommend a specific product. We do carry a product called Dimension 2EW Herbicide that provides preemergence and early postemergence control of crabgrass, and season-long control of crabgrass, goosegrass, foxtail, spurge and bluegrass annual (Poa annua). Please check the label for your specific weed you are wanting to control.

    How long should you keep pets out of the yard after spraying 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide?

    Generally, pets need to be kept out of the area until 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide has time to dry completely. This could be anywhere between 1-3 hours.

    Looking for something to kill Spurge and help control crabgrass would 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide work?

    3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide is labeled for spurge and other broadleaf weeds. It does not control crabgrass. For crabgrass control, many of our customers have found that Drive XLR8 is effective. Please refer to the product label for full instructions on application and to determine if your turfgrass species is tolerable. Please let us know if you have any questions.

    What herbicide(s) can be used to eliminate weeds in a southern centipede/bermuda lawn?
    I think I've indentified the following weeds: carpetweed, chamber bitter, common lespedeza, common chickweed, dollar weed pennywort, florida betony, florida pusley, henbit, oxalis, purslane, spotted spurge, and yellow woodsorrel. Yes, it's a mess! Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!

    The amount of time it takes to start seeing results with a product such as 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide will depend on the health of the plant. It could take a few days or up to three weeks for harder to kill weeds. There are times when a second application is required.

    According to the 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide product label, this product should not be applied if rainfall is expected within 48 hours nor should lawns be irrigated (watered) for 24 hours following application.

    I have a heavy infestation of broadleaf weeds and plan to try 3 way Max Turf. Lawn is primarily fescue with slight zoysia, I live in Atlanta, ga.

    According to the product label for 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide: Postemergence (annual and perennial weeds): Limited to 2 applications per year. Maximum of 6.5 pints product (1.93 lbs ae 2,4-D/acre per application) Minimum of 30 days between applications.

    Blanket cover home lawn with 3 Way Max
    In Mid-March I dropped lime pellets along with Lesco weed and feed. It's now Late April and my lawn is thick, lush and green, but is full of WEEDS. So many weeds that I can't spot treat each individual patch. I'm considering purchasing a walk-behind sprayer along with this Lesco herbicide. I this a good product to blanket the entire lawn? I do not know how to identify the various weeds in my lawn. Help is greatly appreciated.

    What flow rate do i use per acre on a 30 gal atv sprayer of 3 Way Max?

    When using 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide you will use between 2-4 pints per acre mixed in a sufficient water volume to ensure thorough coverage to the target weeds. On average you will use between 1 and 2 gallons of water per 1000 sq/ft when applying herbicides and you will need to calibrate your sprayer to the output that best fits your yard and application rate for your turf.

    Can I use 1.5 oz of 3 Way Max Herbicide in a handheld 2 gallon sprayer on Fescue?
    Hi have Fescue lawn. Need to use my 2 gallon sprayer on clover. I read the label 1.1 oz to 1.5 oz per 0.5 to 5 gallons. So if I mix a 2 gallon water solution are you saying it is safe to add 1.5 oz of product? Am I over thinking this?

    The range is due to variations in spray equipment and in walking speeds. You can use 1.1 to 1.5 oz of 3 Way Max Herbicide per 1000 sq ft on Fescue, so it is fine to use 1.5 oz of 3 Way Max in 2 gallons of water as long as you are using that 2 gallons to treat at least 1000 sq ft.

    Yes, 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide can be applied with pre-emergent herbicides (including Prodiamine). It is recommended to perform a small jar test before application to be sure the 2 products combine well.
