I realize that mostly all baits are lethal to pets. I am just looking for the safer one where they would need to ingest a higher amount compared to others to be lethal, or through secondary poisoning between some of the good soft baits such as flatline, resolv, takedown, and firstrike.
The safest way to protect pets is by following all label use instructions and securing bait in tamper resistant bait stations. Soft baits such as TakeDown Soft Bait do not have an antidote, so it's always best to use a bait box. Secondary poisoning risk is really just with anti-coagulant baits. The neurotoxins have the lowest risk of secondary poisoning, but there is no anti-dote with those, if you're concerned about primary (direct) poisoning. If you like here's a guide that helps to breakdown some of the baits. https://www.domyown.com/rodent-bait-a-122.html. If you would like a bait with an antidote Contrac All-Weather Blox Rodenticidedomyown.com) or Ditrac All-Weather Blox Rodenticide are good but they are bait blox.
