Will Fusilade II Herbicide kill dallisgrass and not fescue?

Answer:

Fusilade II Herbicide is only labeled to be used on Tall Fescue, Fine Fescue, and zoysia as directed, but it is not labeled for control of dallisgrass. We recommend hand pulling or digging the dallisgrass after rainfall or spot treating it with a non-selective herbicide such as Killzall Herbicide. You can then use a pre-emergent containing Dithiopyr in late winter and spring to prevent new dallisgrass. Dimension 2EW is a great choice for pre-emergent for dallisgrass.
