I applied Acclaim Extra at a rate a little higher than suggested because I wasn't sure how far my sprayer would cover. Anyway, it's been about 10 days and no sign of dying crabgrass.

Killed half my fescue lawn. Follow directions to the letter, one treatment killed and browned 50% of the lawn. Don't ever use this crap.

I am up to 3oz/gal and it is not killing anything. grab grass and many weeds still doing fine.

Very disappointed. Hardly touched the crabgrass and Japanese Stilt grass. Hose end Bioadvanced Extreme Crabgrass killer did a much better job at one fifth the money. Waste of over $100!

Acclaim Extra should do a great job on large and smooth crabgrass as well as stiltgrass when used as directed on the label. Young, actively growing grassy weeds are more easily controlled than larger grass weeds which may require repeat treatments.

Tried this herbicide because it says it will kill many weed grasses in lawn. I have purpletop tridens invading my yard. I was hoping that this herbicide would kill it but it didn't do a thing to it. I guess I should have saved my money and time.

Rating is for the age of the product. Stock answer is that it's good for 3 to 5 years if its been stored properly. How was it stored for the 2+ years before I received it .... who knows. That means if the product is good for 3 years, I have less than 1 year left to use it all. It's already expensive and now it's getting close to expiration. I'll look somewhere else to buy next time.
