Product Overview

The Advance Termite Bait Station Home Monitoring Refill Kits help keep your termite bait stations at peak performance. Protecting your home, your investment, from termite damage is a top priority. To get the best results from your Advance Termite Baiting System, you should replace the Termite Monitoring Base (TMB) and Termite Inspection Cartridges in each station every 12 months, as they become depleted due to feeding activity, or if they become moldy or soggy.

The Advance Termite Bait Station Home Monitoring Refill Kits were created to make replacing these parts easy. Each kit contains enough Advance Termite Monitoring Bases and Termite Inspection Cartridges to replace the parts in 10, 15, or 20 stations.

If your find termite activity in your in ground termite bait trap stations, replace the Termite Inspection Cartridge with a Trelona Compressed Termite Bait or upgrade to the Advance Termite Bait Station Annual Baiting Refill Kit.

How to Replace the TIC and TMB:

Step 1: Open the station

Using a Spider Tool, remove the black cap from the station.

Step 2: Remove the Termite Inspection Cartridge (TIC)

Pull out the TIC using cotter pin puller or needle nose pliers.
Use this opportunity to check for termites, looking down into the TMB to inspect for termites. If no termites are found, you can continue to replace with the Monitoring Refill Kit components. If termites are found, replace the TIC with a Trelona Compressed Termite Bait Cartridge.

Step 3: Remove the Termite Monitoring Base (TMB)

Remove the wooden TMB using the cotter pin puller or needle nose pliers.
If the wood base has decayed, use a nail claw to remove it. The wood base piece(s) can be discarded.
Clean out the station.

Step 4: Insert new TMB and TIC

Place a new TMB into the station first.
Place a new TIC into the station. This should rest on top of the TMB.
Replace the station lid and secure the lid using the spider tool.

Our bug guy went out of business. We wanted to keep our home protected so we searched around and DoMyOwn had the best pricing and kits. We asked it the refills would fit what we already had and they let us know exactly what we needed and how to refill our stations. We needed to clean them all out as the wood parts had filled in with dirt, when our order arrived we only had to put them in and we are up and running. Easy peeasy........ Replaced national termite companies bait stations

The large very well know termite company we were using kept decreasing the number of times they wanted to inspect the stations but wanted to keep increasing the annual cost so I ordered the Advance stations. When I started changing out the old stations I discovered the big name company was using the same station and bait refills, just replacing the removable cap with one that had their name on it. The base unit and cartridge even said Advance. So I have had these in place for about 8 years longer then I thought and have been very happy with them. Easy to install and maintain, should have done my own long ago.
