The Advance Termite Bait System Kit contains a pack of six bait cartridges.
Yes, the Advance Termite Bait Systems are safe to use on a property with a well. Many liquids are as well depending on how far your well is from the home and unless its closer than 5 -10 feet from the home to require a station be placed instead, most liquids can still be used just with special application techniques per the label.
The wood in the stations in the Advance Termite Bait System Kit is necessary as the termites find it appetizing which will help with monitoring activity.
Advance Termite Bait Stations should be placed 2-4 feet away from the foundation. They should be spaced 10-15 feet away from each other.
The Advance Termite Bait System Kit contains bait cartridges that use Novaluron as the active ingredient.
The stations in the Advance Termite Bait System Kit include an inspection cartridge and monitoring base that can be stored in a dry, cool place if they are not being used. The inspection cartridge does not contain an active ingredient so you can store the remaining stations for up to 5 years or more.
Yes, the Advance Termite Bait System Kit can be placed in the same holes just be sure the holes are clear of debris and are large enough for the traps to fit. I always recommend starting with the monitoring cartridges to be sure there is activity before putting in the active bait so that you don't waste it as they only last 90 days once installed.
Yes, the Advance Termite Bait System Kit are labeled to be used around obstacles when needed. If termite activity closer to the home is a concern, we would suggest trenching around the posts of the porch using Taurus SC to protect the wood and access to the home if possible.
Measure around the posts to get the total footage. Dig a 6in x 6in treanch around the posts and pour the mixed solution into the trench around the posts. Mix rate is 3.2 fl oz Taurus SC with 4 gallons of water for every 10 linear feet, this comes out to about 0.5 gallons of mixed solutione every 1 linear foot (12 inches)
Advance Termite Bait Stations will not fit the Sentricon System. Unfortunately, Sentricon is only sold directly to pest control professionals. They do not sell the bait to suppliers or to homeowners.
No, if activity is found simply replace the inspection cartridge for the active killing bait that is included in the Advance Termite Bait System Kit. No need to notify the board.
If termite activity is present, replace the Termite Inspection Cartridge with a Trelona Termite Bait Cartridge in the Advance Termite Bait System Kit. (Be sure to remove the plastic wrapper from the TBC before placing it inside the station.)
That should be fine as long as they are out of the drip line. It is recommended that the Advance Termite Bait Stations be placed 2-4 feet away from the foundation being sure to keep out of the drip line of the roof.
It is not abnormal to see ants around the Advance Termite Bait System Kit. You can sprinkle a bait like the InTice 10 Perimeter Bait around the stations or Maxforce Complete Granular Bait to help with them
For treating in a crawl space you will need to use Taurus SC. You can’t apply the Advance Termite System under the house. It is labeled for outside perimeter use only.
If you actively have termites the Advance Termite Bait System Kit will not work, as they will not leave their active food source (your home) to go to the stations. You will need to trench your home to get rid of them. Below is our video on how to do a termite trench:

If you mean can the Advance Termite Bait System Kit be in standing water, the answer is yes. It will not harm the plastic station. However, the wood inside can get moldy and would probably need to be replaced. If the stations are full of water or the wood has too much mold on it, termites will not want to enter the stations. Typically the wood needs to be replaced at least once a year, but in your case, you may need to do it twice a year
Advance Termite Bait System Kit should be checked every 90 days, if no activity is found the inspection cartridge & wood may remain there until the one year mark. Once the year mark comes around, if still no activity, it is best to replace them then.

As for specific literature that states it can be used near the well you will need to reach out to the manufacturer: https://www.basf.com/us/en/legal/contact.html
If you mean can the Advance Termite Bait System Kit be in standing water (heavy rains for an hour or 2), the answer is yes. It will not harm the plastic station. However, the wood inside can get moldy and would probably need to be replaced. If the stations are full of water or the wood has too much mold on it, termites will not want to enter the stations. Typically the wood needs to be replaced at least once a year, but in your case, you may need to do it twice a year. Depending on where you live the climate and the amount of rain, you may need to replace the wood base more often. If the wood bases become very soggy and moldy then you should replace them. You also need at least a couple of inches under the station so that water doesn’t sit in the station as much, so be sure to dig a little extra.
