Product Overview

The Concrete Port Cover is a durable brushed aluminum cover that is designed to cover holes that are drilled or cored in cement and asphalt to install termite bait stations. Drill or auger a 3" hole, insert bait and then cover the hole with a Concrete Port Cover. The covers are opened with an allen wrench.

    Excellent and speedy service. These are better than what I originally had. They are a better design with Allen wrench feature to tighten and loosen the cap. Also, instead of steel on the bottom which over time will rust, this product uses stainless for both top and bottom plates.

    Good Device

    This is a non-obtrusive device. It sits almost flush with the ground and when you tighten the Allen screw it pulls itself even closer. Barely a lip. Very well made. Worth the price.

What bait do you use with the alum cap that takes a 3" hole the regular bait stations are at least 4" in diam?

These aluminum concrete port covers are made to fit the Advance Termite Bait Stations.  However, after drilling the hole through the concrete you can just place the wood and cartridges in the hole without the actual plastic housing.

How does the Concrete Port Cover look from the top, and how does it work?

It is not clear from the picture how the cover looks from the top, how it is closes and opens. What is the red part in the picture? what under the red piece? what are the two edges on the sides that in the picture. Would like to know this before I buy.

The Concrete Port Cover (for termite baiting) has a brushed aluminum finish that is smooth on the top when the cover is installed (this photo is really upside down). The station can be tightened and loosened using an allen wrench in a screw in the center (connected to the red piece) to secure the cover and to lock out moisture. This cover is designed to fit into 3 inch holes perfectly for a smooth, flush covering. After you loosen the cover, you can use a flathead screw driver to help lift it out of the station.
