NON-CROP USES

Applications may be made on a broadcast, banded or spot treatment basis depending on the situation. Avoid direct spray or drift to desirable vegetation. Regrowth may occur due to the weed stage of growth at application, low use rate, or environmental conditions. Repeat treatments may be necessary to control plants generating from underground parts or seed.

WHEN TO APPLY

Repeat applications of Glufosinate 24.5% Weed and Grass Killer or tank mixes of Glufosinate 24.5% Weed and Grass Killer plus one or more appropriate residual herbicide(s) listed on this label will be needed to control weeds emerging from underground parts or seeds.

Effective at the higher end of the concentration

    By Paul on 05/01/2020

I used the first time at the lower end of the range they give for my use but it didn't work as quickly or on quite everything that I would have expected it to. The second time I used it, I mixed using the higher end of the range (1.25oz/Gal) and that worked as expected.

    Contact herbicide

    By Donald on 06/07/2024

So far it has worked great. Since it's a contact herbicide it doesn't seem to hurt plants that are close by. Takes a little longer to kill the weeds, but it does kill them. That's a small issue if it saved the plants close by.

A

Whenever you see a state listed next to the "Not for Sale to:" section of our website, its listing any state that the product is either not registered in at all by the manufacturer, or restricted by that state either all together, or to only a licensed individual. In the case of the Agrisel Glufosinate 24.5 Weed & Grass Killer, the manufacturer does not have it registered for sale in that state. Q
Is Agrisel Glufosinate 24.5 effective on Artillery Weed (Pilea Microphylla) and at what rate of application?
A

Agrisel Glufosinate 24.5 Weed and Grass Killer Post-Emergent Herbicide is not labeled to kill artillery weed, however since it is similar to glyphosate, it should work on it.

Please view this article by the University of Florida that suggests herbicides containing the active ingredients, oxadiazon, flumioxazin or glufosinate would work on it.
