The BB Stop Bed Bug pit-fall trap has a unique patent pending design with a textured and ridged climbing surface, a reinforced bottom for enhanced strength and a slip agent impregnated into the recyclable plastic to inhibit escape. The BB STOP can be placed beneath the legs of furniture such as beds or nightstands to trap hungry Bed Bugs in search of a living host for a blood meal by the heat and CO it emits. We also suggest trying our BB STOPs by placing either dry ice, which emits CO, or a heating pad (i.e. hand warmer) in the center-most square to attract Bed Bugs.
We recommend using a large washer (you can get these from your local home improvement store) or a piece of wood under the trap to avoid cracking. While these are a bit tougher than other traps, you can still run into issues with the traps cracking if you use them on deep carpet without any kind of support beneath them.
Dimensions | The center well where the furniture leg will sit is 4 inches x 4 inches |

bombing your home is not effective...will not kill bed bugs. I had the other things under my bed posts that are on this web site and they cracked. So i am trying this because after paying almost $2,000 to bug company...1 year later problem is happening again. I dont believe it was ever gone bc these things can stay dorment (hybernating) for long periods of time. Also am going to try a natural dust this time that is good for envirinment and will not harm animals nor humans. It is a particle that cuts the bugs when they walk through it and they dry out in a few days.

No bugs in traps
By Diane on 09/17/2013
I'm happy to report that I've had the traps under my bed legs for 2 weeks now to monitor any bed bug activity and no bed bugs!! I had 2 heat remediation treatments done to my condo, first one did not get rid of all the bed bugs 6 weeks later I was getting bitten my these little f@?!#+s again. The second treatment looks to have worked 6 weeks without a bite. i bought The traps/monitors for piece of mind. One problem I encountered with the traps is that after about a week I noticed one of the traps is cracked. I was assured when I purchased them that they would be fine on low pile carpeting and they would not crack, but one did.. For those of you that are considering using these traps, i would recommend them but i would advise putting something rigid under the traps so they don't crack and allow those pesky little bugs to climb up on your bed and feast on your blood.

Bed Bug Pitfall Monitor Traps
By Anonymous on 07/15/2013
A these traps exceeded my expectations. First, I was able to determine that bed bugs were not an issue. A change of laundry detergent was the root cause of the "bites". Secondly one of these traps caught a small harmless spider who happened to climb a small Incline that happened to be the trap. The outer surface is gritty enough for insects to readily limb and the inner surface is so smooth that small critters cannot escape.

BB Pitfall
By R. on 09/10/2013
I have not tryed the pitfall apparatus yet, however, I can tell you that nothing has worked up to this point. Where are the scientists of the world. BB's are beginning to be a major issue to our rest. They are more widespread than most think and are not vunerable to any sprays. Last night I finally got some sleep by spraying Deep Woods Off around the perimeter of the mattress. I did not have a bite all night and only got up a couple of times to see if any were on the bed. Entrepreneurs of the world, we need some help here. A remedy could be worth millions on the market!!!

BB Stop Bed Bug Pitfall Trap
By Anonymous on 07/24/2013
How does this work, is it just like the Climb-Ups, that the inside wells are slippery and the bed bug will just get trapped inside it? And if I put my bed posts on it and my room is carpeted is there a chance it will crack? Also, how many come in one pack or is it just one single BB Stop I'm ordering (i.e. if I wanted one for all four posts I'd have to buy 4 separate BB Stops?)

I have twin beds with wheels in the footing of the bed frames, the estimated measurements are 2.5 x 3.5 inches. Which is the best trap you have for the measurement provided?

Since beds have 4 legs and almost $10 is an extremely high price for just 1 interceptor!
BB Stop Bed Bug Pitfall Traps are sold individually, so $9.95 is the price for one individual trap. We do also have the Climb-Up Insect Interceptors, which are available in a pack of 4 for $15.98.
