B&G Bulb Duster 1150
By Fredrik on 06/15/2018
I used the B&G Bulb Duster 1150 to use insecticide dust powder to treat wood eating bees. The problem with this bulb duster is that it only works good if you fill it full of powder. If it is half full it will not work. So if you don't have enough powder to fill it ,you can't use it.

Bulb Duster 1150
By Deborah on 09/29/2019
We purchased this bulb duster to use with Tempo 1% pesticide to hopefully eliminate our wasp problem inside the siding of our house. It worked well and allowed my husband to "spray" it into the underneath of the siding. He wore a bee suit I purchased elsewhere as the wasps did swarm around him as he had to get close up to the area. The duster worked and was very easy to use. The pesticide came out with each squeeze of the bulb and we followed directions by not overfilling it. Worked great! Very thankful to avoid the $200 + for a pest control company to come to our house.

Durable, user friendly design and includes extension tubes!
By Eric on 08/28/2020
The rubber B&G Bulb Duster 1150 is a durable, premium design compared to some of the plastic bellows type puffers that I saw online. I followed the instructions and only filled bulb half full with Tempo 1% dust insecticide. I had to shake the bulb between puffs to keep dust flowing but it delivered plenty of dust to get the job done. Holding bulb at about 45 degrees downward seemed to work best. Extension tube attachements are included for hard to reach areas. FYI, I forgot to bring the extension tubes with me to a site. So I duct taped 2 plastic drinking straws with flex necks onto the bulb and that also worked great! I used the bulb duster on two yellow jacket nests so far. One below ground and one overhead in a house soffit. The bulb duster performed perfectly both times! FYI, apply dust at night and use a work light stand. The dust weery yellow jackets attacked the work light stand and did not see me! In both cases I used Tempo 1% insecticide dust and the nests had zero activity the next morning. I did not get stung and I am very happy I chose the rubber B&G Bulb Duster 1150 and Tempo 1% to get rid of my yellow jacket nests!

Quality materials, worked as described
By Ken on 09/09/2013
I used this for a yellow jacket nest inside a wall behind siding. The bulb duster worked but was a little awkward to use while on a ladder trying to get enough product inside the hole. The changable tips were a big plus. The materials are quality and will last.

A little puff will do ya!
By Jim on 09/15/2015
More effective, less cost, less environmental impact: I had yellow jackets in my siding. I tried vacuuming them all day long for days and sucked up hundreds of them but if I stopped for a day the hive would regenerate. I vacuumed one more day, from sunup to sunset. Under the cover of darkness, I applied Evergreen Pyrethrum Dust once, four big puffs. (I used the B&G bulb duster to apply the powder into a 1/4 inch diameter hole between two trim boards on an outside corner of the mud sill. It was a really awkward place to get into but the attachments made it possible. The duster is really high quality and easy to use. I am going to keep it in case I have any future need for pest control.) Some yellow jackets emerged into the beam of my flashlight with a fine coat of dust. They fell to the ground, writhed for a few seconds and keeled over. There was no more activity for over a week so I sealed the hole with caulking; mission accomplished.

Quality Duster, easy to use and it arrived within a couple of days after I placed the order. It works great and so far I've use Diatomaceous Earth in it. I'm sure it will do a good job no matter what type of powder you use. First time that I ordered from this Vendor. I will definitely be ordering more items.

Easy to use. Worked like it said it would. I used it for Carpenter Bees in our pergola and front porch. Within 24 hours, I found 8 bees dead on the ground beneath the holes. I used the 3/4" plugs to plug the holes after that. Now I will stain over it.

a little tricky to use
By Sue on 07/19/2016
overall the dust worked great the bulb duster applicator was a little tricky to use, it seemed as though the powder was not coming out and the tip kept falling off, as well as powder getting clogged and the powder puffed out from the lid area of the bulb. all in all the 2 products did the job to get rid of the carpenter bees so far, we have plenty of powder to do another application as necessary.

B&G Bulb Duster 1150
By Cable-cutter on 08/09/2016
I used the B&G Bulb Duster to apply some Tempo 1% dust to a nest of yellow Jacket wasps and it did a fine job. My only concern was that when holding the duster up right (vertically) not getting enough dust to come out of the spout, so I would shake it first. Later I measured and inserted a straw to use as a pick up tube inside the duster bulb. B&G should provide a pick up tube with their product for situations requiring you to spray vertically.

Great Duster for carpenter bees
By Melissa on 08/11/2016
This duster allowed me to get into the carpenter bee holes that are on the underneath side of my deck railing. Very tight location. I tried a few other sprays before and could never get the product in the holes. Found a dead carpenter bee within a few hours. Great duster!
