    Can I spray Bifen IT from a Stihl SR 200?
    I’m a little confused by other answers to similar questions, because they differentiate between misters and foggers, and I’m not sure which of those describes the SR 200.

    Can I use a Ryobi Fogger/Sprayer to apply Bifen IT outdoors for mosquito control?
    A

    Bifen IT cannot be used in ULV, Thermal or Propane fogging equipment and only labeled to be used in a pressurized hand pump sprayer, backpack sprayer or gas powered mist blower that provides larger droplets.

    What is the best general purpose insecticide you offer? We are treating for roaches, spiders..etc.
    I am looking for something since I no longer use an exterminator. Thanks

    We would recommend Bifen IT as a great general insecticide. It is labeled for spiders, roaches, and over 75 other pests. It can be used indoors and outdoors. The residual is up to 90 days indoors and 30 days outdoors. Bifen IT can also be broadcast across your lawn, sprayed on trees, shrubs, flowers, etc. It cannot be sprayed on any type of edibles. Indoors, you will spray along the baseboards and cracks and crevices. You will mix 1 fl. oz. of Bifen IT per gallon of water. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Will Bifen IT control junebugs?
    A

    You can use Bifen IT as a preventative. You want to spray around the outside perimeter of your home 2-3 feet up and out. Also, indoors cracks and crevices. You can also put a few traps like the Beetle Bagger Japanese Beetle Trap - Kit around too. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

    Can I use the Bifen IT in a backpack fogger for outdoor use?

    Bifen IT cannot be used a ULV or thermal fogging machine. You can use it in a handheld or backpack sprayer or a mist blower such as the Solo 451.

    Can Bifen I/T and Pivot IGR be applied with a thermal fogger?
    A

    Bifen IT and Pivot 10 IGR should NOT be applied in a thermal or ULV fogger. It should be dispersed in a hand pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, hose end sprayer or mist blower. We do carry thermal fogging concentrates that would be fine to apply.

    Does Bifen XTS last longer than Bifen IT
    Does XTS hold up better to the elements outside than IT?
    A
    Typically oil based products such as Bifen XTS will not be able to sustain a longer residual than a water based version such as Bifen I/T, as the UV rays from the sun tend to break down those oils a little faster. In most instances Bifen I/T would be the more appropriate and easier to mix product of the two, and the most versatile with where it can be applied.

    Can I use Bifen IT in a Vector Fog C100 fogging machine?
    I want to spray for wasps, fleas, tics, spiders, termites and mosquitoes.

    Bifen IT cannot be used in the Vector Fog C100. Riptide 5.0% Pyrethrin ULV is one of the best insecticides to use with the VectorFog C100 ULV Cold Fogger. It does not provide any type of residual, but it will kill the insects that it touches. It provides effective control of a wide range of insects including mosquitoes, stored product pests, cockroaches, biting insects, crawling insects, flies, and more without oil residues or oil-related issues. Riptide can be used undiluted and diluted.

    Is there a shelf life on mixed Bifen IT solution??
    After mixing Bifen IT with water, is there a time period during which the mixed solution must be used before it becomes ineffective? I like to keep the remainder of the mixed product in a sprayer for later use, but am wondering if it will degrade quickly once mixed with water. Thank you Gary Black

    You should never store product in your sprayer as it will weaken the gaskets and other pieces within the sprayer shortening the life of the sprayer. Bifen IT should be used up within 24 hours of diluting it with water. The longer an insecticide stands in a diluted state the less effective it becomes.
