Most of the Ryobi machines state in the manual that they do not allow for use of professional grade products such as Bifen XTS (which cannot be used in any fogger as well) which is what we mainly carry. You would need to contact the Ryobi manufacturer for the best advice. The only option we have that might be an option is the Mosquito Beater.
Bifen XTS is labeled for moths. Per the product label, mix .26 to .1.28 fl oz per 10 gallons of water.
Bifen XTS is mixed at the rate of 0.07- 0.15 oz. per gallon of water and apply once every 30 days as directed.
Bifen XTS cannot be used in a thermal, ulv or propane fogger but can be applied using a backpack sprayer or mist blower If the Tomahawk Backpack Fogger you have works as a mist blower/sprayer similar to the Tomahawk Power Mist Blower TMD14 with Turbo Boost, that would be an acceptable piece of equipment to use for applying Bifen XTS. Please see the product label for complete instructions.
When using an insecticide, it is recommended that you keep pets and/or other animals out of the area while the product is being applied. Once Bifen IT dries, it is safe for animals, such as turtles, to return to the area.
One of our roach control kits would be recommended for roach control. These professional kits includes non-staining, low odor concentrated insecticide for spraying the outside perimeter of the home and inside underneath appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. You'll also get Roach Bait Gel to help get rid of those roaches that like to hide. Baits can be applied up high in the kitchen in the corner of cabinets and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Finally, an Insect Growth Regulator is offered which will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals. The insecticide must be applied with a 1 gallon pump sprayer.

We do not have any products labeled for this use including Bifen XTS so we are unable to advise you on it.
We would not recommend using Bifen XTS at temperatures over 85 degrees as this is an oil based product and can burn plants it comes into contact with under extreme heat. We recommend spraying in early morning or late evening.

The Bifen XTS, Bifen I/T, and Bifen LP Granules are all great choices for outdoor treatments of springtails. They are typically the most common to be used and show great results on the populations. Occasionally customers will use a product like Tempo SC Ultra to try and drench soil sections where they suspect springtail nests to be located in the yard or around concrete areas such as patios/walkways/driveway, etc. Tempo has a slightly faster knock back of insects with the ingredient it contains, but the overall residual control would be the same as what you are familiar with using. Continue to try and reduce moisture as much as possible and pick up debris that they could nest within or under.
The SDS for Bifen XTS states, Chemical Name of Active Ingredient(s): Bifenthrin: 2-Methyl-3-phenylphenyl)methyl (1S,3S)—[(Z)-2-chloro-3,3,3- trifluroroprop-1-enyl]-2,2-dimethylcyclopropane-1-carboxylate. Taurus SC and Bifen XTS cannot be mixed together. Taurus cannot be used on lawns at all. You can mound drench with the Bifen as directed on the product label.
Bifen XTS is mixed at 0.32 - 0.64 oz. per gallon of water depending on the pest you are treating. For a 3 gallon sprayer, you will mix 0.96 – 1.92 oz. for the entire 3 gallons of water. Please review the product label for further application instructions.
To treat ornamental plants for whiteflies, you can use 0.26 – 1.28 oz of Bifen XTS per 10 gallons of water, per the product label. The rate at which you set your hose-end sprayer will depend on what settings are available, although this is a pretty low rate per gallon of water with the highest rate being 0.128 oz per 1 gallon of water. 1 gallon of water usually treats about 1000 sq ft of turfgrass, so it will likely treat less area if you are treating dense ornamental growth. Be sure you are treating all the leaf surfaces until they are wet but not to the point of runoff.
