Sod webworm problem

After an extended dry spell we got some rain and I noticed large patches of the lawn were not recovering. Based on experience, I knew immediately that I had sod webworms. I ordered the XTS and sprayed as soon as weather permitted. The last couple of times mowing I have observed no moths and the grass is recovering. It looks like it was effective. Will spray again in a couple weeks to make sure I get any residual larvae.

No more stink bugs

Last year I was attacked by stink bugs. This year I purchased Bifen XTS and used to to spray around the windows. I'm not sure if this is the recommended approach but I opened the window from the inside and used a spray bottle to spray around the window aiming out. I have not seen a trace of one of them in two weeks since.

If you are buying Bifen from Amazon you are getting ripped off. The product they sell is in a smaller bottle and is watered down. DoMyOwn is 15% Bifen and the Amazon is 4%. We use it to kill fire ants and termites which are epidemic in the South.

Doom for fire-ants

Quick fire-ant killer, this one kills all including the queen and has long lasting residual . After one application on each and every fire-ant mound the yard has been fire ant free for weeks, for South Carolina has fire-ants every where and this is a proven knock-out (Biften XTS).

Nuclear option for bugs

Works great for almost every insect. I use this in my backpack sprayer for mosquitos. I went from swarms to one or two. 0 ticks seen. No more junebugs. I live in a forest with a swamp. We could not be outside before using this! Make sure no rain in the forecast for maximum effect.

Two stars because the Bifen XTS and Permethrin were shipped together and the Bifen XTS was leaking and had pretty well soaked the package despite having been individually bagged in plastic. A lager box with some bubble wrap around each container would have provided the needed protection. The product(s) are great and work very well. The shipping is the only criticism.

Strong smell

It works but not sure what kills the pest the chemicals or the smell. This stuff has a very strong smell, I made the mistake of spraying it under my atrium and geez the smell would knock you down. Definitely not for any enclosed area, outside or the house or other outdoor area then it would be great just keep out of any enclosed area because of the smell.

Bifen XTS

I bought this to treat a house my grand daughter lives in for termites it works great and also kill spiders and ant. the house next door had a load of mush brought in and it had fire ants in it. I got a bounce of ant mounds and I put Bifen XTS on all the mounds killed them out but I know I will get more from next door so I will get rid of them again if I do.

Product leaked during transit

This review is not on the quality of the product as that remains to be seen but it will be a review of the quality control/shipping process. The packaga arrived intact and apparently undamaged on the outside. The container however had leaked somehow inside the plastic bag. One of the caps was slighlty loose and the product leaked theough the protective foil barrier somehow. The two tops were taped together but the product degraded the tape into a sticky mess all over the bottle. Not a really big deal just a pain to clean up

Amazing Stuff

This stuff is absolutely amazing! The front of my house has a field stone fascia along the lower 30" and the black widows like to nest in there. We are in the Raleigh, NC area. Since I sprayed the stone fascia 3 years ago, we haven't had a single black widow. We also get other spiders building webs up in the ceiling area of the front porch. They don't cause problems but their webs do make a mess that a challenge to clean. I used to try to prevent/remove them every week with the backpack blower after I mowed but it was always a losing battle, and messy. Since spraying the ceiling area with my Bifen XTS, not a single new spider web in 3 years. I am loving this stuff!!!! Oh, and it works better, lasts longer, and is SOOOO much cheaper than the BugStop I had been using from Lowes for years Highly recommended!!!!

Moved to Florida last summer and had 4" grasshoppers all over the yard. A few weeks ago we noticed thousands of hatchlings so I searched DMOPC.com for something to kill them. I spent almost 2 hours spraying the yard, plants, exterior of the house and the huge groups of baby grasshoppers I came across. The next day I found about 100 grasshoppers so I sprayed them too. After a week, I saw fewer than 2 dozen. I'm so impressed with how quickly the Bifen XTS worked. I also used it on fire ants, cockroaches and I something else outside. Pow! The nests were dead the next day.

I used and it kills seemingly everything. Ants are gone. Earwigs, scorpions...gone. It also killed spiders and I wasn't expecting the effectiveness. I sprayed it around the outside of home and within a few hours I started seeing huge spiders rolled into balls on my driveway, front, and back porch. Huge spiders that I had no idea were around. I even sprayed the wasp hives. The wasp left and have yet to return. That was nearly a year ago. The Pest Control company told me all they could do was knock done the wasp hives and overtime, they'd just stop building. But they never seemed to bring their long pool to knock them off the second story eaves so I fired them. Not two weeks later I sprayed this and the wasp never showed again and the hive is still on the eave. Can't go wrong here.

This stuff does the job. Larger bugs take a little extra facial application :) The residual capability is what I like. Sprayed around the base of the garage and the window sills. Flying pests still dying 2 weeks later. Concentration of this product is what counts. I get the equivalent of 20 bottles of "Home Defense" from this little jug. If I follow the directions...
