2nd best I've tried
By Gary on 11/08/2016
The trigger assembly and flow control is great, but I did have to purchase gaskets for area that the wand attaches to the trigger within 3 weeks of use. Also the plastic nut at the same attachment point gets loose and leaks daily. Might want to use locktite but if the gasket goes bad again that might be a problem. Comfortability is less than many cheaper sprayers. I can barly reach 2nd floor peak on a calm day. Overall disappointed and will be going back to my previous brand.

Best Backpack you can buy anywhere
By Gibsoneer on 04/24/2016
When I first bought this sprayer I thought I wouldn't care for the red color so much, when I started to use it,wow. The pumping method was extraordinary. I could reach easy 40-50ft. I no longer need to haul ladders. you can buy attachments such as and extension pole for even further heights. Well I had mine for years, and it finally wore out and now I'm buying another.Since i'm a lot older I think I'm getting the 2.5 gal. I earned it.

It fit

I ordered this to help my lower back as I've been doing pest control 4 years using a B&G handheld pump sprayer which in itself is great quality but repetitive bending over is havoc for arthritis in back. I'm also 5'2 female and the birchmeier back pack is more slender than all others. I do this all day long so I need to be quick and efficient and the size and quality of the birchmeier is perfect. I appreciate it.

I got the 4 gallon birchmeier but it is heavy when filled.I would like to know if the 2.5 gallon would be better for me ?
If the 4 gallon Birchmeier you purchased then yes, the Birchmeier Flox Backpack Sprayer 2.5 Gal would weigh a little less and might be a better option for you.

Does the tank have markings for full and half gallons? Can see the liquid level thru the red tank? How long can you spray before pumping again?
There are tank markers on the Birchmeier Flox Backpack Sprayer 2.5 Gal. and you should be able to see the amount of water left in the tank. Operate the pistol valve (23) and generate pressure by means of a few strokes on the pump lever. Maintain the pressure by operating the pump lever periodically. There is not a set time you can spray before pumping again as it depends on the pressure pumped but generally you would need to keep pumping throughout spraying to keep the pressure up.

The Birchmeier Flox Backpack Sprayers come assembled for the most part. You may have to put the straps on and adjust them yourself though.
