The Birchmeier Flox 10 l (2.5 Gallon) Backpack Sprayer (10956104) actually has a 2.64 gallon volume because of the original 10 liter volume. The sprayer may be used for spraying herbicides, liquid fertilizers, fungicides and pesticides. It may be used for residential or commercial, consumer or professional, in the home and garden, or office buildings to warehouses, and farms or in vineyards. Birchmeier manufactures the best backpack sprayer available in the market. This is a professional grade sprayer and is designed for many years of use. The Birchmeier name is the choice of most pest control and landscape professionals and homeowners that understand the difference. The Birchmeier Flox 2.5 Backpack Sprayer is easier on the back because of its design and light weight.
The effectiveness of the Birchmeier backpack sprayer can be seen in everyday use. It has a problem-free operation due to the equipment and technology is well-proven. A sample of this is the professional trigger with operational parts of solid brass. There is a fine small filter that is assembled into the handle and is very effective in stopping the nozzle from becoming clogged. The hose is oil resistant and also from kinking.
When I first bought this sprayer I thought I wouldn't care for the red color so much, when I started to use it,wow. The pumping method was extraordinary. I could reach easy 40-50ft. I no longer need to haul ladders. you can buy attachments such as and extension pole for even further heights. Well I had mine for years, and it finally wore out and now I'm buying another.Since i'm a lot older I think I'm getting the 2.5 gal. I earned it.
The trigger assembly and flow control is great, but I did have to purchase gaskets for area that the wand attaches to the trigger within 3 weeks of use. Also the plastic nut at the same attachment point gets loose and leaks daily. Might want to use locktite but if the gasket goes bad again that might be a problem. Comfortability is less than many cheaper sprayers. I can barly reach 2nd floor peak on a calm day. Overall disappointed and will be going back to my previous brand.
These are great sprayers, except this one has a nut that is loose on the back pump. I have used it twice and it leaks all over my back. The nut is awkward/hard to reach because of the pump connectors to the backpack.
I used the 5 gallon sprayer professionally for years. The quality of the Birchmeier sprayers are unmatched by any other sprayer. If you want a great backpack sprayer, these Birchmeier sprayers are the ones to buy.
I ordered this to help my lower back as I've been doing pest control 4 years using a B&G handheld pump sprayer which in itself is great quality but repetitive bending over is havoc for arthritis in back. I'm also 5'2 female and the birchmeier back pack is more slender than all others. I do this all day long so I need to be quick and efficient and the size and quality of the birchmeier is perfect. I appreciate it.
Are there Gallon markings on Birchmeier Flox Backpack Sprayer 2.5 Gal. tank?
Does the tank have markings for full and half gallons? Can see the liquid level thru the red tank? How long can you spray before pumping again?
There are tank markers on the Birchmeier Flox Backpack Sprayer 2.5 Gal. and you should be able to see the amount of water left in the tank. Operate the pistol valve (23) and generate pressure by means of a few strokes on the pump lever. Maintain the pressure by operating the pump lever periodically. There is not a set time you can spray before pumping again as it depends on the pressure pumped but generally you would need to keep pumping throughout spraying to keep the pressure up.
