The Bird Barrier Bird - Off Deterrent Gel 10.2 oz. (tf-bg01) is an environment-safe bird repellent solution that prevents gulls, pigeons, sparrows, starlings and other pest birds from roosting and nesting at your estates. This is made of all-natural ingredients which produce unique combination of scent, taste and texture that discourage birds. Do not worry because this is non-toxic and will not entrap them.
The gel is perfect to use in beams, long, exposed ledges, parapets, pipes, signs and other landing surfaces. For application, clean and dry the area where you want to employ the gel. To open the tube, cut off the tip and replace it with the included applicator nozzle. Clip off the end of the nozzle and move the tube down into any standard caulking gun. For more effective result, apply it in strips using a zigzag or wavy pattern. Use 1/4-inch bead of gel for small birds, 3/8-inch for medium birds and 1/2-inch for larger birds. Application of gel in wider areas like ledges or column tops require more than one bead. For cleaning, simply wipe the surfaces using soap and water.
The Bird Barrier Bird - Off Deterrent Gel 10.2 oz. will not turn black when exposed to other elements because it contains no polybutene formula. This is designed to withstand different environmental conditions like heat, rain and wind. Also, this would not freeze, melt or evaporate. Installation Instructions
1. Thoroughly clean building surface (remove droppings, dust, etc.) and dry it before applying Bird-Off Gel.
2. Cut tip of tube off with cutters.
3. Screw nozzle on tip of tube and cut nozzle 1/2 way down.
4. Load and lock tube into caulking gun.
5. Apply in strips in a wave-like fashion in a 1/4-inch bead for small birds, 3/8-inch for medium birds and 1/2-inch for larger birds. For wider areas, more than one bead may be necessary.
To remove, use scraper and then wipe the area with soap, water and a rag.
