Bonide Wasp and Hornet Killer Aerosol is an aerosol spray for flying insects such as wasps, mud daubers, hornets, yellow jackets, and carpenter bees. This spray contains three main and active ingredients that will provide an instant and potent knockdown and kill with residual power. This agile and swift kill aerosol may be applied or sprayed in areas such as under eaves, screens, around window frames, doors, patios, cracks, holes, and where these stinging insects are seen outdoors. This spray may be sprayed straight into a nest for a full knockdown of the entire nest. One of the active ingredients, Permethrin, leaves a residue to inhibit and prevent adult insects from re-entering into the site of the in order to reproduce. This process, later on, kills the entire colony.

To kill Wasps, Hornets, Yellow Jackets and Carpenter Bees under eaves, screens, window frames, doors, patios, cracks,holes or crevices wherever insects are noticed, spray for about1-2 seconds or until surfaces are moist. To prevent entrance of insects into the house, spray around points where insects enter such as outside plumbing, faucets, etc., and cracks or crevices in foundation up to a maximum height of 3 feet, as well asalong sills and ledges. Remove all exposed food and cooking utensils. Cover all food handling surfaces or wash thoroughly after treatment and before use. Do not use on edible crops.
For best results, spray in early morning or late evening wheninsect activity is minimal. Stand a safe distance from nest and notdirectly underneath. (Remove protective cap.) Hold can uprightand point spray opening toward nest with wind at your back. Spray until nest is thoroughly saturated to kill the entire nest population. Residual action will kill wasps and hornets returning to the nest. Wait at least 24 hours before removing the nest.
Mud Daubers:
Spray directly on insects and their nests from approximately 2 feet away. Applications should be made in late evening when insects are at rest. Spray into hiding and breeding places contacting as many insects as possible.

Direct, long range liquid spray. Worked a LOT better than off-the-shelf products. I used three different kinds without effect before this!?? This spray stopped all activity! (or was it a combination of all 4)? Two days latter I was able to knock the hive down. However I did still find 6-10 alive inside but not aggressive!?? (new hatches??). I would use this product again.
