Three levels of Crop Protection: Unique, Effective & Reliable. No insecticidal oil compares in either physical attributes or performance. Tri Tek may be used on tree crops, vegetables (row crop and field crop), greenhouse vegetables, small fruits, shade trees, shrubs, ornamentals, flower and foliage plants, Christmas trees, and greenhouse ornamentals.
Benefits
Pre-Emulsification - Mixing Tri Tek, already emulsified, dilutes with water more easily and thoroughly than conventional spray oils. Emulsifying with hard water is not a problem for Tri Tek.
Stability
Even after dilution, Tri Tek won't separate for many hours in a spray tank. Many conventional oil products begin to break apart into their separate oil and water phases immediately after mixing; Tri Tek does not. The stable emulsion of Tri Tek lasts longer than all other oil products ensuring that the spray application is consistent from beginning to end.
Reliability
When conventional oil emulsions break apart, the oil separates and floats to the surface of the tank. If applied at that point, the solution drawn from the bottom of the tank provides little plant protection, while the remainder may cause phytotoxicity.
Safety
Manufactured using the finest, narrow range oils and emulsifiers, TriTek doesn't put your crop at risk by using heavy oils known for their phytotoxic risk. The unique formulation of Tritek provides excellent coverage and durability with little risk of phytotoxicity.
Always read and follow label for detailed instructions.
For General Use: Add sufficient water to the mixing tank to allow proper agitation. Add the correct amount of TriTek to tank. Maintain agitation until solution is used. If other pesticides are to be added, do so after TriTek has been thoroughly mixed.
This insecticide’s mode of action is through suffocation of eggs, larvae and nymphs of insects and mites and adults of soft-bodied insects. This mode of action necessitates total spray coverage. As a fungicide this product interferes with the attachment of the pathogen to the host and acts as a suffocant. Use enough spray solution to completely penetrate the leaf canopy and cover both top and bottom of all of the leaves until wet without significant runoff. Most mature trees will require 20 to 500 gallons of spray solution per acre although citrus trees may require 15 to 1000 gallons of spray solution per acre. Row crops generally require 20 to 100 gallons of spray solution per acre.
Greenhouse Use – Apply at the rates of 20 to 100 gallons of spray solution per acre for control of the greenhouse pest. (Be sure to check with your equipment and local recommendations.) TriTek may be used to control mite and insect pests in the egg stage, including: spider mites, eriophyid mites, armored scale, soft scale, mealybugs, psyllids, whiteflies, aphids, leafrollers, leaftiers, webworms, cankerworms, plant bugs, leafhoppers and adelgids. This product will kill other immature insect forms if the spray covers the insect.
See APPLICATION RATES for species claimed to be controlled on specific types of plants. Use this product only on the types of plants identified in the APPLICATION RATES.

I'm growing larval host plants for caterpillars. Need to know if Tritek will kill caterpillars when they are eating the foliage after being sprayed with TriTek. How it absorb into the plant issue? and if so how long of survival within the plant tissue?
Brandt TriTek is not labeled specifically to kill caterpillars, but since caterpillars are a soft-bodied insect, this product could kill them whether they're sprayed directly with the product or if the caterpillars make contact with leaves sprayed with TriTek.
