Product Overview

Brigand WB - Wax Block Rodenticide is one of the most durable rodenticides on the market. It is made of the same quality ingredients that PelGar is known for: including food-grade flour, oats, wheat, and milk protein, increasing the palatability of the rodenticide. Brigand WB is special because it has edible waxes holding it together, giving the bait unsurpassed durability from the elements, making it ideal for situations that other baits can't handle.

Details

The unique chocolate aroma of Brigand wax blocks is palatable to both rats and mice and ideal for use in those areas where moisture, mold and heat can be continuous issues for bait. The manufacturing process of hot-casting produces a very stable and palatable block which has unsurpassed moisture resistance. The properties of Brigand WB keep the block stable for days, even when submerged in water, whereas the extruded block formulation is effected almost immediatelly, dye's are washed out within hours and bacterial/fungal growth can be seen within 24 hours. After drying Brigand WB is still at its best while an extruded block is soured, unpalatable and breaking apart.

The result of extensive research, PelGar’s wax block baits bring to the market a highly palatable formulation suitable for use in all climatic conditions. PelGar’s wax blocks are ready-for-use and formulated using high quality culinary grade wheat flour, blended with chopped wheat, other cereals and proteins which are bound together by edible waxes.

The addition of other food grade materials improves palatability compared to other extruded or cast blocks ensuring excellent bait ‘take’. The incorporation of bio-stats inhibits the growth of both fungi and bacteria should the block be exposed to damp/humid/sewer conditions.

PelGar’s wax blocks are manufactured by a hot casting process ensuring the wax and other components are intimately mixed together. This process ensures blocks are highly tolerant to humidity and suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.

PelGar produces a range of blocks with a central hole; 10g, 20g, 28g, in addition to a 5g minibloc and 100g block with wire tie.

Please always read and follow label directions before use.

    Was hoping for faster kill

    By Robert on 02/21/2016

I used Brigand WB as a professional pest technitian, with great results. But was unaware of the actual length of time for the bait to work. As I was placing the bait around my farm I discovered 3 mice trapped in a feed trough with some feed in it. I placed a block in with them to see how long it would take before they died. After one week one block was gone and the mice showed no sign of weakness. After 14 days, two mice were dead the third was not doing well. I thought it killed in about 6 days. It is a very effective product just didn't produce results as fast as I thought.

    Works Great

    By Edward on 01/19/2018

It works faster than 14 days like the previous reviewer. The mice had a supply of Vitamin K1 with them. I am surprised they died at all. That is the antidote to anticoagulant bait. Must be really good bait.

    Brigand WB

    By Billi on 10/31/2022

Our new place was infested with rats when we got it. We used this product with metal bait stations and it got rid of them! We are still using it and the rats are gone. It's great!
