When making an application with any insecticide, including CB-80 Aerosol, your PPE should be socks, shoes, pants, long sleeve shirt, chemical resistant gloves and a mask if needed, something comparable to an N95.
CB-80 Aerosol is a contact kill that can be used when seeing flies in the crawl space area. For a residual spray, OneGuard can be applied at 1.0 to 2.0 fl oz per gallon and broadcasted on the surface but also around the exterior perimeter foundation.
When applying CB 80, it would be best to wear chemical resistant gloves, goggles, and a respirator mask if applying in areas with no ventilation.
CB-80 is not for use on anything edible or electronic/machinery, the label does state: Spray into cracks and crevices, processing and handling equipment, around cartons or containers and other areas where these insects tend to congregate. So only around the areas where the bins/grain are stored more to kill those insects you make contact with during application.
Evergreen Pyrethrum Concentrate would be a better option for spraying down bins, stored grain and other areas listed on the label as a contact kill.
CB-80 Aerosol cannot be used around bodies of water where there is aquatic life or chance of wind drift into bodies of water.
WebOut Cobweb Eliminator would be a better option as it kills spiders and prevents spider webs on any surface that may support spider web development. This product can also be used as a contact pesticide to kill ants, crickets, mosquitoes, cockroaches, perimeter pest insects and other general pests. This is a Ready To Use product and has a 30-60 day residual outdoors.
Please view the product label for more information.
It is best that people are out of the area until the CB-80 Aerosol has dried which usually takes 30 -45 mins, it is only labeled to be applied to cracks and crevices You should also spray baseboards, moldings, and floors.
CB-80 Aerosol contains solvents that should not be used on edible items. It would not be safe to consume anything sprayed with it.

CB-80 Aerosol is only a contact kill & does not leave any sort of residual. It is also not intended to be used inside appliances. Roaches have to come out to eat/drink water at some point, you may consider using Advion Cockroach Bait Arena near where they are. When they come out, they will feed on it & eventually perish
CB-80 is a great option for knock down of flying insects. Without knowing what species of pest you are treating for or dealing with specifically, its hard to give accurate treatment information. We'd recommend looking at our Drain Fly Guide and our Fruit Fly Guide to determine which pest you are treating for, and to help locate and narrow down the primary areas/drains they are coming from in the home. The guides also go over step by step instructions for eliminating each pest, and have kits and product recommendations provided.
CB-80 Aerosol can be used in wall voids per label. We would recommend taking a look at our ant treament guide.
CB-80 Aerosol does not leave a residual, it is used for flush out and/or contact kill. If you are looking for an insecticide aerosol to spray on baseboards, cracks, and crevices that will leave a residual, you can use Cy-Kick Aerosol instead.
You will shake the can of CB-80 Aerosol really well before use. It is not necessary to shake the can while you are applying the product.
Yes, CB-80 Aerosol is labeled safe to use around appliances.

No, CB-80 Aerosol - 17 oz. can is not labeled to kill termites. This is a pyrethrin aerosol that will kill insects that you spray directly with it, but we cannot recommend it for termites. CB-80 Aerosol is a flushing and contact aerosol providing ultra-fast knockdown of flies. However, there is no residual with this product so it will only kill the flies that come in direct contact with the spray. You certainly can wipe everything down after using in a room, because again there is no residual with this prouct. This spray will not kill the eggs, only the flies that come into contact with the spray.
CB-80 Aerosol - 17 oz. can should not be applied near anything electrical. Stick with the Tempo Dust applied in the early morning or late evening when the wasps are less active and likely to sting.
CB-80 Aerosol can be used directly on carpets of you are treating for carpet beetles. However, that is the only application on the product label that can be used in that manner.
