Does Not Work
By Mike on 10/31/2023
After a month not an ounce of this bait was eaten by any mice. After hundreds of dollars I still have a huge mouse issue. From what I can tell this stuff is useless to kill any mice. Between the money spent on this and the bait stations I should have had a pest control company just take care of it. Do not waste your money it is completely ineffective
Expert response:
Typically, if none of the blocks are eaten then there is a food competition issue. If there is other food accessible that is more attractive to the rodents then they will eat the other food first. This could be outside trash, bird seed, food in a garden, etc. Also, placement of the bait stations are critical outside and are best placed at every corner of the home or more if heavy infestation.
We do have some great guides below regarding treating and preventing mice that we would recommend reviewing.

Contrac works Ditrac did not
By Jan on 02/10/2024
About 2.5 years ago had big mouse problem in barn. Bought 18 pounds of Contrac. Blocks disappeared quickly for about two week then dropped down to near zero. The bucket lasted about two year and mice were no problem. Last fall I bought Ditrac because it was cheaper at the time. But I went through 18 pound bucket in less than three months. Felt like I was just feeding the.mice. I went back to Contrac. On January 22 I put out the Contrac and they gobbled it up for about ten days. Now hardly any is disappearing and no sign of mice though I found a few dead ones. Based on reviews it seemed like Ditrac should work but it didn’t and Contrac again worked as advertised. Great product unless your a mouse.

Bait my own Bair boxes
By Cyndy on 03/30/2024
For years I paid for a pest control company to put bait in the boxes. I feel so lucky that I found this company and am able to buy this product myself. This is same quality product the professional companies use. I save a lot of money by doing it myself. It's a 1 kill product which means it won't kill other animals if they eat the dead rodent.

easy to use, caviar for the rats
By Ceecee on 07/19/2024
rats enjoy this delicious snack and condume every last crumb of it. easy to install in bait stations. advise using rubber gloves when touching this product as it is made to prevent blood clotting in rodents and prefer none of the chemical infuse through my skin in handling it.
rats love it!

Had a hot tub, and it was constantly drawing rats to it. they were living in the insulation of the tub and around the motor area. [note: hot tubs art rat magnets!] Then a neighbor's house went into disrepair and was rat-infested, so we were seeing rats during the day scurrying across our fence. we also have fruit trees, so a perfect trifecta for rats. bought this product, put it in the bait stations, it really helped control the rat population. after i ran out, got myself 2 outdoor cats and they were highly effective at controlling the population, but they also killed the birds and sadly got hit by cars about a year later. so i went back to contrax and am very pleased with the ease of use and its effectiveness!
