We had an invasion of large rats that were tunneling in our rock wall and even coming up on the deck and ate from the bird feeders. We had tried the bait from a farm store, but it didn't eliminate our rat problem. I worked as a professional PCO for 36 years and we used Contrac as our primary rodenticide. I live in the Catskill Mountains and the mouse pressures are very high. I have 6 exterior stations and Contrac works fantastic to reduce the population prior to the mice looking for entry into my home.

If you want to get rid of rodents , I think this is the trick . I have tried all those things you but at the store . Traps cubes repellents .You name it think we have tried it . the expense on all these thins .exceeds the amount t We paid for this. It has been about 21/2 weeks I refilled my4 units completely every other day. Now I'm at every 4 days . think things are finally coming to a even keil. Make sure you purchase the units also

Bought Contract rodenticide and Protecta EVO bait station for a mouse problem. Within 2-3 days it cut my mouse in the house issues by 90% and after using in now for 2 years I have only 1 or 2 mice come in the house and that is usually when I forget to refill the station. It works so well that I recently bought the same items for a small rat problem my son has in the city. This stuff works great, does its job and keeps working. Just remember to refill or check the bate stations every month or so. This is infinitely cheaper than having a company come and so it for you. They use the EXACT same materials but charge a lot. If you don't mind the do it yourself bate upkeep then this is hugely cheaper and easy to do.

Bought a 6-pack of the Protecta LP Rat Bait Stations and put 4 of these Blox in each of them. I only put the bait stations out 45 minutes after sunset and remove them 45 minutes before sunrise because I don't want to harm the grey squirrels around here - they keep some of the bugs in check. The problem I'm targeting is the Norway rats that burrow under my fence from the neighbor's yard and come into my yard at night. I put most of the stations in corners and near locations where I've noticed rats enter my yard under the fence. None of that bait has been touched. However, the 6th bait station, which I put behind a shrub I've seen rats run behind alongside the fence, has already had half the bait eaten, and it's only been a week so far. So I'm going to experiment with location on the others. It's apparently all about proper placement.

I have used Contrac All Weather Blox for many years now to control our rat population. The All Weather Blox does not melt away like other Blox do. Our rat population has been held to a minimum using this product. I highly recommend this product and will use this product or years to come.

I spoke to the Contrac phone support help prior to purchasing as I was debating whether to purchase the 4lb or larger buckets. I was told that once they are open that the effectivity loses its strength when the bait is exposed to air. I purchased the bait for at 12 pack of Strong Box metal bait stations to place around the buildings at our farm. This 4 lb bucket had enough bait (4 pieces per station) to do the entire dozen stations, plus enough to reload several more of my existing stations. The formula active ingredient is also what commercial rodent control exterminators use.

I wasn't sure if this product would work but nothing that I had tried in the past had done any good. The bait has been eaten and seems to have less holes and damage around and in our sheds. I plan on buying more bait stations to use on the fences around the yard where it seems to be where their active run line are. I am very happy with this and would recommend this product.
