Cyzmic CS would be a great product as a barrier spray to kill insects that contact the treated surface. While there is not a product that will keep them out, sealing up all cracks and crevices that allow them entry is best way to prevent insects inside. We also have a great general pest prevention guide that can help.

Cyzmic CS Micro-encapsulated Insecticide certainly can be used for roaches, but if the infestation is severe, it is not likely that just using an insecticide by itself will completely control them. It is usually necessary to use an insect growth regulator (IGR) along with a roach bait gel as well. We normally recommend using one of our Roach Control Kits so that you will have everything you need to eradicate a roach infestation. You may want to look over our Roach Control Guide for more information on how to kill and prevent roaches.

Spraying fences down with a general insecticide like Cyzmic CS would be a great way to try and deter nests from being built in crevices along the fence. Cyzmic is a residual insecticide that, once dry, will continue to kill insects that come into contact with it. Focus your spray where they land, and they will pick up the product on their bodies and feet and slowly die from it. It may take time to drop a large wasp population, but treating where they normally build nests will help reduce the number in the area and hopefully stop them before they really get a chance to get a new nest started.
When measuring out the Cyzmic CS Micro-encapsulated Insecticide you will only remove the cap off of the measuring reservoir. This is a squeeze and pour bottle, so you will squeeze the main section of the bottle until the product travels up the outside straw to the reservoir and fills to the desired measurement line. At which point you would stop squeezing the bottle, then pour the measured amount out into your pump sprayer to mix with your gallon of water. Agitate to mix, pump up the sprayer and you are ready to make your application.
