    You want to apply Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide at a rate of 5.8oz per 1,000 sq feet. Generally, 1 gallon will treat 1,000 sq feet.     I have a major red thread problem that many other products could not stop.

    How many ounces of Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide should I use in a gallon of water to treat brown patch?
    A

    You want to apply Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide at a rate of 3.7 to 5.03 oz for brown patch (the rates are 1.8 to 3.25 for pre-disease) per 1,000 sq feet. Generally, 1 gallon will treat 1,000 sq feet. Please refer to the product label prior to usage for more details on the application.

    Do I need to water in Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide liquid that I applied with my tank sprayer?
    I have bluegrass with a rust issue.

    Yes, you will mix Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide with water. For rust, you will use 5.8 oz of product per 1000 sq. ft. You will need to mix this in at least a gallon of water. Please refer to the product label for complete instructions.

    Do I water this fungicide into my Bermuda lawn immediately after application? If not, how long do I need to wait before doing so?

    Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide does not need to be watered in if the correct water ratio was used when mixing.  You should wait at least 24 hours to water treated areas.

    Can Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide be used on vegetables if diluted to a lower rate?

    No, Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide cannot be used on vegetables in any way.  We would recommend using Fertilome Triple Action with Neem Oil. It is safe for use on edibles. It is a fungicide, miticide and insecticide all in one. The mix rate is 1 fl oz per gallon of water.

    Why does the Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide label say not to use on blue spruce?
    What happens if the blue spruce come in contact with this product?
    A

    Blue spruce are very sensitive and many products like Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide can cause bleaching of the branches or foliage, which could be permanent.  The only product that we carry that is specifically labeled as safe to apply to blue spruce is Clearys Spectro.

    What would be the amount of Daconil Ultrex to use in a one gallon sprayer to treat rust in ornamentals (daylily)?

    Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide is not labeled specifically for applications to daylillies. Eagle 20EW would be a better option.  It is labeled for use on ornamentals such as chrysanthemums, daylilies, poinsettias and roses in nurseries, landscapes and greenhouses.

    No, Daconil Turf Care Fungicide cannot be used in an irrigation system. It should only be used in a pump sprayer or hose end sprayer.
