    Each bag of Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide will cover 16,000-80,000 sq ft depending on what you are using the product for. Please read over the product label to find correct usage rates for your needs.

    What is the rate/oz for 25 gal of water with Daconil Ultrex?
    A
    You want to apply Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide at a rate of 5.8oz per 1,000 sq feet. Generally, 1 gallon will treat 1,000 sq feet. With that said you would was to mix approx. 145oz to 25 gallons of water. Do not apply more than 15lbs per acre. If you have any further questions please call Syngenta the manufacturer at 866-796-4368.

    I have a major red thread problem that many other products could not stop.

    Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide label states this product cannot be applied to home lawns.  Eagle 20EW is labeled for red thread and is designed for residential use.

    Do I need to water in Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide liquid that I applied with my tank sprayer?
    I have bluegrass with a rust issue.

    Yes, you will mix Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide with water. For rust, you will use 5.8 oz of product per 1000 sq. ft. You will need to mix this in at least a gallon of water. Please refer to the product label for complete instructions.

    How many ounces of Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide should I use in a gallon of water to treat brown patch?

    You want to apply Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide at a rate of 3.7 to 5.03 oz for brown patch (the rates are 1.8 to 3.25 for pre-disease) per 1,000 sq feet. Generally, 1 gallon will treat 1,000 sq feet. Please refer to the product label prior to usage for more details on the application.

    We have kentucky blue, perennial rye, fescue grsses that has red thread and dollar spot

    Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide is an excellent disease control agent for turf and ornamental plants and is labeled for both red thread and dollar spot, however, Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide label states this product cannot be applied to home lawns. Eagle 20EW is labeled for red thread and is designed for residential use.

    Unfortunately  Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide label states this product cannot be applied to home lawns.  Eagle 20EW is labeled for gray leaf spot and is designed for residential use. You would use 1.2 - 2.4 ounces of Eagle 20EW per 1,000 square feet. Apply when conditions are favorable for disease development. If using the lower rate, tank mix with a registered contact fungicide at its labeled rate.

    Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide is not labeled to treat for fairy ring. Heritage G is labeled for fairy ring and provides a broad spectrum of control for up to 28 days. Please refer to the product label for application rates.

    How long do I need to wait before watering in the Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide?
    Do I water this fungicide into my Bermuda lawn immediately after application? If not, how long do I need to wait before doing so?

    Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide does not need to be watered in if the correct water ratio was used when mixing.  You should wait at least 24 hours to water treated areas.

    Golf course greens are Bermuda grass. Have some spots of Kentucky blue grass showing. Will Daconil cure this?
    A

    Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide is a fungicide only and will not affect grasses or weeds.  Certainty Herbicide is labeled for many species of bluegrass in warm season turf but does not list Kentucky specifically.  Your best option may be to spot treat with a glyphosate based product and reseed/sod the bermuda in those areas.

    Why does the Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide label say not to use on blue spruce?
    What happens if the blue spruce come in contact with this product?

    Blue spruce are very sensitive and many products like Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide can cause bleaching of the branches or foliage, which could be permanent.  The only product that we carry that is specifically labeled as safe to apply to blue spruce is Clearys Spectro.

    What would be the amount of Daconil Ultrex to use in a one gallon sprayer to treat rust in ornamentals (daylily)?

    Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide is not labeled specifically for applications to daylillies. Eagle 20EW would be a better option.  It is labeled for use on ornamentals such as chrysanthemums, daylilies, poinsettias and roses in nurseries, landscapes and greenhouses.

    Can Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide be used on vegetables if diluted to a lower rate?

    No, Daconil Ultrex Turf Care Fungicide cannot be used on vegetables in any way.  We would recommend using Fertilome Triple Action with Neem Oil. It is safe for use on edibles. It is a fungicide, miticide and insecticide all in one. The mix rate is 1 fl oz per gallon of water.

    No, Daconil Turf Care Fungicide cannot be used in an irrigation system. It should only be used in a pump sprayer or hose end sprayer.
