Demand CS can be wiped up with hot water and soap. The product is safe for your dog even if over sprayed on the floor after it has completely dried.

When used as directed on the product label, Demand CS is safe to use outdoors in areas where birds frequent. Be sure the birds are out of the area when the Demand is being applied and try to keep the birds away until the area is dry.
We would recommend that you keep animals out of the area while Demand CS is wet. Once the product is dry, it is safe for pets/animals to return back to the area. There is such a small amount of the active ingredient that actually gets on the bugs before they die that it will not affect any animals that consume the dead bugs.
Demand CS is not a systemic. As in, it will not leach into soil. It does not leach into soil like Imidicloprid products.
Demand CS should be applied when there is no rain the forecast for 24 hours after application. The outdoor residual of the product is up to 30 days. Heavy or prolonged rains can diminish that residual slightly.

Focus treatment on the unkempt areas of the lawn and lawn edge. You can also use Demand CS to do a barrier treatment around the outside of your home and in your crawl space to stop pests from moving indoors.
