In conjunction with Demand G, it would be a good idea to use Bifen IT as an indoor crack and crevice treatment and a barrier treatment around the foundation of your home.
It is not recommended to apply Demand G Granules in the rain. The granules do need to be watered in after application, so you can apply right before it is going to rain so that the rain will activate the product instead of it being watered in by hand.
Once the Demand G has been watered in and dried it will not be reactivated by rain or irrigation to make it unsafe for your pets to be in the lawn. While large amounts of rain can certainly reduce the length of time the Demand lasts outdoors, average rain and irrigation it is designed to hold up to.
Demand G granules is an excellent option for 2-3 month control of grasshoppers in your lawn. The product will applied with a speader and watered in.

We don't have the exact spreader setting for your model spreader. The easiest way to determine the correct setting for your needs is outlined below:
If you need to use 3lbs of product per 1,000 sq ft you would add 3 lb of product to spreader, start with a medium setting, then apply product to a 20 x 50 ft area (1,000 sq ft). If you have product left, your setting is too low. If you run out of product, your setting is too high. Typically if you walk at a normal pace and set the spreader at the middle setting, that is usually the right amount per 1000 square feet. If you only have a few settings, then it is best to start lower and then you can easily increase as needed.
