Dithiopyr L Specialty Herbicide is both a pre-emergent and an early post-emergent herbicide that targets crabgrass and provides pre-emergent control of broadleaf weeds and annual grasses. Contains dithiopyr as its active ingredient which is highly effective in inhibiting the growth of unwanted weeds. It is ideal to use on landscape ornamentals, ornamental turf, established lawns, non-cropland and industrial sites, and commercial sod farms. This professional pyridine-based herbicide is safe to use with water. Simply add 3/4 water on a clean spray tank with a specified amount of the product and immediately remove the hose from the mixing tank. Spray the target area to prevent unwanted grass and weeds such as crabgrass, ryegrass, dandelion, chickweed, and sowthistle. Comes in a 128-oz. jug.

Do not apply Quali-Pro Dithiopyr L in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the Agency responsible for pesticide regulation.

Prodiamine 65 WDG (Generic Barricade) can be mixed with other herbicides like Dithiopyr L Specialty Herbicide and 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide. We would recommend doing a tank mix test first to make sure the products will be compatible. If they are, you can use them together and follow the most restrictive label.

Dithiopyr L Specialty Herbicide is another good option for you to use for crabgrass and other weeds in Bermudagrass. It will definitely work just as well as Prodiamine 4L, we recommend to read the product label for complete application instructions.o
Early Spring pre emergents need to be applied when soil temps are just below 55 degrees for early crabgrass prevention. Please refer to our Warm Season Lawn Care Calendar for a general idea on when to apply pre/post emergents.
