This is a very nice product once you get it assembled. The instructions could be better. Make sure you measure and sort the bolts so you don't accidentally put them in the wrong place. I used it for the first time and it pushes really easily and is nice not to have to hold down the spring loaded handle like on my old scotts model with plastic wheels.

Exceptional Spreader

I do a lot of lawn renovation and planting jobs. This is my second Earthway Professional 50# spreader. Someone stole my last one out of my trailer... This spreader is my favorite. I like it over my 70# Chapin because of the size; it is about perfect. This thing full is plenty to push around. Throws very consistent and nearly 10-12ft of coverage on a pass. Great Spreader!

Arrived as stated in email. I assembled using enclosed directions without problems. It did take me some time to assemble, but no problems. Used it for grass seed and found it would not close easily because the seed would make the shutoff stick. Used it for grub treatment and for fertilizer and it worked smoothly without stickiness. Maybe the seed was so small it got between the shutoff partes.
