Fahrenheit Herbicide is not safe to use around desirable ornamental plants such as your knockout roses as it only for use on turfgrass areas. We recommend that you spot treat the dollarweed carefully using a non-selective herbicide such as RoundUp QuikPro. You may also consider using mulch or other barriers to help block sun and nutrients around where the roses are planted.
The product label for Fahrenheit Herbicide says, "Avoid applications where roots of ornamental plants, including shrubs, may extend" so we would not recommend applying the product around your azaleas and hydrangeas.
Fahrenheit Herbicide is only labeled for use on warm-season grasses so it would injure cool season turf such as Tall Fescue. However, Tall Fescue is not listed as a targeted pest this product controls. You can look at a product like Image Kills Nutsedge Concentrate as it is labeled to remove Tall Fescue and can safely be applied to Bermuda lawns.
Fahrenheit Herbicide can be used in St. Augustine, but it is not labeled for Chamberbitter. This is a very stubborn weed. Pre emergent applications with a product like Isoxaben 75 WG has proven to be the most effective way to control this weed. Also, please keep in mind given how persistent and pesky chamberbitter is, there is no one and done solution to take care of the weed. Repeat applications may have to take place in order to fully kill the invaders. Please review the product label for further application information. You may contact your local cooperative extension office for additional products and recommendations for this application.
We apologize but cannot confirm that the Fahrenheit Herbicide would be safe for use on Floratam. Per the product label: Due to sheer numbers, all varieties have not been screened, so testing should be done prior to use on a small area to determine if your variety has tolerance. Fahrenheit Herbicide is not labeled for cool season turfgrasses including Kentucky Bluegrass to control poa annua. For poa annua, we would recommend making a fall pre-emergent application (if you will not be overseeding), you can use Pendulum 2G. Because poa annua is technically a cool season grass as well, the only option you really have is to use a non-selective herbicide, like Roundup QuickPro to make spot applications and reseed those areas.
