    Q
Will the Fogmaster Jr 5330 work for fogging crawlspace under house for termites?
    A

We do not recommend to fog for termites in a crawl space. It will not penetrate the raw wood. In this case we recommend to treat using Boracare. Boracare will penetrate up to 4 inches into the wood and will last the lifetime of the wood. You can paint it, spray it, or foam it onto the raw wood.   Please take a few moments to review our treatment article on How to Treat for Termites for more information.

    Q
Is there a product that can be used safely in the Fogmaster Jr to kill bed bugs?
    A

Sector Misting Concentrate is labeled for bed bugs and is safe for use inside of a Fogmaster Jr. While this product is labeled to kill bed bugs, we would recommend using residual products as well. We do have Bed Bug Kits put together to do a complete treatment for bed bugs. The kits require the use of a pump sprayer.

    Q
Can the Fogmaster Jr be used with a Cedarcide product?
I need a cold fogger but cannot afford the one they carry.
    A

We would like refer you to the manufacturer for these specific questions. You can reach Fogmaster at 954-481-9975.  Most cedar products are very harsh on the seals of equipment so they would be able to tell you if it could hold up to it.

    Q
Can the Fogmaster Jr. be used with cedar oil based solution?
Can this Fogmaster be used with a cedar oil based solution like Wondercide? I need to apply it in my home which is 1,100 sqft and I just need to apply it at a low level to kill fleas, not all the way to the ceilings, will this product work?
    A

Wondercide products that have cedar oil in them are safe for use inside of a fogger such as the Fogmaster Jr. Be sure to check the label of the product you are using to make sure they are safe for use in foggers.

    Q
Can I use the Fogmaster Jr for play area daily mosquito control?
Good day, I have the Stihl mister that I use for monthly mosquito control with Riptide. I think I want a small unit to use daily around my grand childrens play area. I have plug by the playground. Would you recommend the Fogmaster jr or the Burgress Thermal fogger? What solution would you use? I mainly want to protect my grandchildren while they play on the swing or in the sand pit. I could not figure out how the Sector fogging solution would be mixed for thermal fogger if that would be your suggestion. What ratio and with Mineral oil from Lowes?
    A

The Fogmaster Jr works really well for small areas but when fogging most solutions will only kill those insects that are out in the open at the time you fog and may make the area slightly repellent, such as with Riptide.  We do not carry a Burgress Thermal Fogger so cannot compare it to the Jr.  Sector Misting Concentrate is not labeled for fogging a lawn for mosquitoes so we cannot recommend it for this use.  Riptide could be used in the Jr in the area and will help to temporary reduce the mosquitoes and other annoyance insects.  Children should be out of the area during the treatment until dry.  The key with mosquitoes is really using a residual product to the underside of leaves that will continue to kill the mosquitoes that land on a treated surface.  Another option you could use is the EcoVia which is an all natural insecticide that will last about 30 days on outside surfaces.

    Q
Do windows and doors need to be shut after using the fogmaster jr?
    A
Most fogging concentrates state that window and doors should be shur during the application and opened once the application is complete in order to ventilate the building. However, it depends on the fogging solution you are using, not the equipment. Please refer to the product label of the fogging solution for complete instructions.
