Fusilade II Herbicide may discolor or suppress dymondia and is not labeled for either clover or oxalis. Unfortunately, we are not aware of a broadleaf herbicide that can safely be applied to dymondia. It is usually recommended to spot treat as much as possible with a nonselective herbicide such as Roundup QuikPro, and then replant in those areas in a couple of weeks when the weeds are gone. You may also want to contact your local cooperative extension office to see if they can recommend anything that has been successful for others in your area.
To increase effectiveness when applying Fusilade II Herbicide you can use a Non-Ionic Surfactant in conjunction with it and we sell this product here on our website.
Fusilade II Herbicide? is NOT labeled, nor safe, to use around garlic or any other edibles. Fusilade II may only be used in landscape areas, roadsides, nurseries, greenhouses, flower beds, groundcovers, interiorscapes, parks, sports fields, gold courses, commercial and residential areas. Once the weeds have emerged you would need to use the main product used for weeds and grasses in an edible garden is a Roundup type product, like our RoundUp QuickPro? product or the all natural product Avenger. These products do not leave a residual that could possibly be soaked up by the roots of your garden. Of course you do not want to get the RoundUp or Avenger product on any plants you want to keep. You should only direct it at the weeds you want to get rid of.
Fusilade II Herbicide is a grass killer and will harm your desirable turf grass.
Fusilade II Herbicide cannot be used on centipede grass as it will kill the lawn, nor it is labeled to be used on home lawns. Most of the herbicides on the market will only suppress the torpedograss for a short time. It is recommended to spot treat the torpedo grass with a non-selective herbicide such as Round Up Quick Pro and then reseed or sod in the treated areas.
First, we would like to inform you that Fusilade II Herbicide is not labeled to be used on or around any edibles such as bananas. However, the time of kill depends on a few different variables such as the specific weed you are targeting, the outside temperature, as well as the ground temperature. The hotter it is outside the quicker the kill and you also have to be sure that the ground temperature is atleast 55 degrees. If below 55 degrees then the target weeds will be dormant and a kill will not be likely. Although, weed growth is halted and within just one week there will be loss of vigor, yellow and/or reddening, and eventual death of the treated grass weeds.
