For all of us who have been told the Original Sulfodene is only available through vet prescription, for big money, here it is same ingredient here with happy jack. mercaptobenzothiazole. Thank goodness this stuff really works on hot spots and to keep a dog from licking and chewing feet raw. Thank you Happy Jack.

My French bulldog had a few BAD hotspots on his neck. ..likely from his collar. I used happy jack hotshot treatment and within one day his hotspots were looking much better. Then after the second treatment, they are almost completely better. I will ALWAYS recommend this item. ..loved it. Thank you.

Not very happy with jack
By Isaac on 10/09/2018
Not a good product for any of my dogs. The scent is very very strong. Even when application is applied lightly the oils get all over everything had to wash sheets, blankets pillows. But that isn't the worse of it cause it caused my dogs to itch more causing hot spots to break open and redness became worse too

As long as you rub the balm into the pet's skin as directed on the Happy Jack Skin Balm label, then it would be safe for animals to resume their normal activities after use.

Happy Jack Skin Balm can be applied on animals generously to affected areas once or twice daily. If you bathe the animals, then you would want to reapply after bathing for best results.
