Bye bye clover!
By Matthew on 07/17/2020
I've been struggling with clover and trying to find something that will kill it without harming my lawn. Last year I tried TARGET 6 Plus and while that did a number on the crabgrass it didn't have as much impact on the clover. It killed the leaves it touched but didnt kill the whole plant. It also damaged my grass. That took a long time to recover and the clover recovered as well. This stuff knocked the clover dead in one application and had no effect at all on my grass. I dont have any crabgrass this year (got the pre-emergent Prodiamine 65WDG down in time) so can't comment on how it would work for that.

Really works!
By Wanda on 07/19/2020
I've tried everything in the Big Box stores for years to kill wild violets in a rental property we own. Nothing worked. I found your website and relied on your customers to help me solve this problem. Hi-Yield Trilcopyr really works! After 1 application, they were beginning to wilt, after 2, they are drying up and dying. Thank you my fellow reviewers for your comments and honesty. One more application should do it, I'm leaving nothing to chance because I hate yard with weeds.

Hi Yield Triplopyr Ester
By Jennifer on 09/18/2020
I bought this because we have the tree of heaven - bad tree that attracts the spotted lantern fly- which is a horrible insect from China. Watch out the tree and the insect are both bad. The triplopyr was used on the tree to discourage the insect.

So far so good
By Shaun on 04/11/2022
My grandmother had become extremely annoyed with the (purple flowers) that constantly plagued her lawn. I decided to do something about it and came to DoMyOwn as they have assisted me in the past. I sprayed this in the summer and did not see anything happen to the wild violet. My granny's lawn this spring does not even have one wild violet, however her neighbor you can see that they are promptly growing. The caveat is to spray in the fall and subsequently they won't return in the spring. Good bye "purple flowers!!!!"

Eliminated Creeping Charlie on one acre lawn from 40% of lawn (yeah a lot) to less than 5%. Applied twice carefully over 4 month period and no damage to lawn. read instructions closely. I did not apply too much or too little. Waited for following season to confirm the very positive results. Yes, there was early 'dying' of some weeds within the first month, but we took the long term view and were patient. With so much area to attack, I purchased a motorized sprayer back pack style. Small areas can use a pump sprayer (which I have). Use those extra masks lying around, protect all extremities and pants. Suggest a time when no two or four legged beings are around for the day. DMO is my goto place and very supportive.

This stuff really works it killed 85% of my clover on the first try and creeping Charlie also may have to spray one more time to get the rest that I might have missed the first time but all in all this product works wonderfully

My worst enemy is wild violet..... It has frustrated me for years. 2,4,D alone didn't kill. I mixed this product with some 2,4,D (as stated on label) and sprayed. Normal weeds curled in a few hours.....The violets, just seemed to laugh and shake it off. After a week I saw some yellowing, in the violets.... and two weeks in. I see death approaching. Very yellow, with some browning. I can't believe they'll survive this. i plan on spraying again later in the fall as the plants will go dormant for winter, hopefully drawing more poison into the roots.

LAWN VIOLETS

Patience is required as it takes some time to see the full results of Triclopyr Ester. The reason being that the application will successfully eliminate existing growth, but not the new growth that will survive the initial application requiring additional applications to bring about the desired remediation. Given the cost of other herbicides, TE is a welcome management solution.

By Doni on 08/11/2023
First used this product last year in hopes it would kill the wild violets that were taking over our backyard. This year NO wild violets! Not a single one in our backyard! Purchased another bottle because my neighbors yard they are wanting to creep under the fence so stopping them in their tracks! Highly recommend this product.

Hi-Yield Triclopyr Ester
By Kathryn on 10/27/2023
Received quickly and was well packaged. I am going to have to wait until spring to use on the never ending creeping charlie. Every time I have wanted to use it either rain has been expected or it started raining out of the blue. Hopefully it will destroy the creeping charlie!

Works as designed, it gets rid of Creeping Charlie.
By Cz on 06/14/2024
I have a very health tall fescue lawn in the front, but the back yard has been struggling for at least 2 seasons. Just when I get Poa Annua under control up pops Creeping Charlie. How it got there is a mystery - I noticed my neighbor's backyard is infested with it, but I digress. Anyway, after some research on the best product to rid my lawn of Charlie I decided to try this, and it just works. I also treated the adjacent perimeter of my neighbor's yard, yeah, I have a buffer now.
