A wonderful way to combat lace bugs.
By Viv on 02/10/2013
I have an extensive collection of azaleas. Unfortunately, I live in Florida in a newer development with no trees to provide shelter and two of my azaleas are planted in a garden that has a full southern exposure. Needless to say, every spring and summer my azaleas get those pesky lace bugs, all of them, even the ones in the shade. I've been used this insecticidal soap concentrate for four weeks now and I find that it's very good. I see new growth in my azaleas with no brown spots under the leaves and the older leaves have stopped falling. I am also using this soap on my Ixoras and I found they have perked up quite a bit too.

Insecticidal Soap Concentrate is a non-selective insecticide when applied directly to them, so we do not recommend spraying on flowering plants while pollinators are present. It is recommended to treat flowering plants in the morning or evening when beneficial pollinators are not present.
