Ironite Mineral Supplement 1-0-0 is a mineral supplement that will quickly turn plants from yellow to green. It is suitable for use in trees, shrubs, flowers, vegetables, and lawns. The formula is enhanced with beneficial microbes to increase organic activity in the soil. This supplement also contains Advanced Soil Technology to improve the physical characteristics of the soil performance, improve water penetration and reduce soil loss. It is compatible with all soil types and does not contain phosphorus. It is non-staining and non-burning and will provide a long lasting green without excessive growth. Just 10 lbs. will cover 1,000 sq ft.!

DIRECTIONS FOR USE FOR LAWNS: For best results, mow the lawn and water it well one to two days before you apply Ironite Mineral Supplement 1-0-0. Apply as needed every 30-60 days throughout the growing season.
Apply only to actively growing turf. Do not aply near water, storm drains or drainage ditches. Do not apply if heavy rain is expected. Apply this product only to your lawn, and sweep any product that lands in the driveway, sideway, or street, back onto your lawn. Check with your local Cooperative Extension Agency to obtain specific information on local turf best management practices. Check with your county or city government to determine if there are local regulations for fertilizer use.

THESE SETTINGS ARE A GUIDE: They were determined by landscape professionals using new spreaders. The condition of your spreader, your walking speed, the roughness of the lawn, and even the humidity can affect how fast the lawn food comes out. Watch flow rate. If product appears to be coming out either slower or faster than you are covering your lawn, adjust the setting. Close the spreader when filling, turning or stopping.
FOR PLANTS & SHRUBS: Ironite Mineral Supplement 1-0-0 can be used on a wide variety of plants and landscape areas, including (but not limited to):
Apply to established plants, trees, shrubs, flowers and vegetables at a rate of 1/3 pound per 100 square feet. Apply evenly under the drip line and around plants. If possible, mix lightly into the soil. Water deeply after application. Apply as needed every 30-60 days throughout the growing season.
1/3 lb=½ cup --- 100 square feet = 5 ft x 20 ft area or 10 ft x 10 ft area
Note: Ironite Mineral Supplement 1-0-1 is intended as a supplement to a regular fertilization program and may not, by itself, provide all the nutrients normally required by crops and oher intended plants. A typical lawn will use from 1 to 4 pounds of nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. per growing season. When used as directed, this Ironite Mineral Supplement 1-0-0 formula provided 0.03 pound of nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. of lawn per application.

Ironite Mineral Supplement 1-0-1 is intended as a supplement to a regular fertilization program and may not, by itself, provide all the nutrients normally required by crops and other intended plants. We do not see any reason you could not use it as well as the weed and feed product.

Yes, the Ironite Mineral Supplement 1-0-1 granules are safe where dogs are present. Be sure to remove pets during treatment, and after the granules have been watered in and the area has had time to dry, then pets can resume normal activity.

Ironite Mineral Supplement 1-0-1 is intended as a supplement so applying at the same time should be fine as long as you do not over-apply the products.
