Martins Permethrin 10% is effective once it's mixed with water, remember that water is the carrier that allows the product to be applied evenly. Just as with other insecticides, the product must be used within 24 hours of being diluted otherwise the effectiveness does decrease. According to the label, to create a .10% solution, you will need to mix 1.33 ounces per gallon of water or for a pint of solution that will equal about 0.16 oz per 16 oz of water. According to the label though, if you're doing a dog dip you will need to use at least 8 ounces in 12.5 gallons of water, please read over the label for more information and treatment dilutions.
