Used 1tbl spoon in 1 quart of room temp water. Used long kitchen gloves and held the dove gently and submerged backend first in solution until level reached neckline careful not to let head or eyes touch the solution. The dove was held in this position for about 30 seconds and lifted each wing slightly to allow solution to cover undersides of wings. Once done I used a dry washcloth to pat the bird dry.
