  • Asked by Jonathan from Ware, Ma
    09/13/2014
    Q
Does Martins Viper Insecticide Concentrate give an immediate kill or a quick kill to lessen attacking bees?
Is this a contact spray concentrate? I want a pesticide or additive along the lines of Exciter. Treating nests at night is not an option in the exterminating business and the more bees that perish quickly the better.
    A
Martins Viper Insecticide does provide a quick kill for bees. No, Viper is not a contact kill. You will use 1 fl. oz. per gallon of water. ExciteR mixed with the Viper will provide a faster knockdown. It will give it an extra "kick". Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Q
Can Viper be used against termites??
    A
Martins Viper Insecticide Concentrate will kill termites that come in contact with the treated area.  However, do not recommend Martins Viper Insecticide Concentrate to treat a termite colony. We first need to know what type of termites you are dealing with? You can contact a local pest control company to come do and inspection, normally free, and then let us know what they find. You can begin reading up on various methods of termite treatments on our Termite Control page.

  • Asked by Reba from Crandall
    11/12/2016
    Q
Does Martins Viper Insecticide Concentrate work instantly, or do insects take it back to their nest?
I used Viper and an IGR in a 1 gal sprayer and I'm not seeing as many, but I am still seeing some. I was wondering if this kills on contact or if they take it to the nest.
    A

The cypermethrin active ingredient in Martins Viper Insecticide Concentrate is picked up in the residual, and carried back to the nest. It works by affecting the pests' central nervous system.
